I press my ear to the wall trying to listen to their conversation, but the walls are way too thick. I try to use one of my earpieces and press it against the wall. I try to listen from their but it still doesn't work. I adjust the dials so it can search deeper but still no luck. I shove the hearing piece into one of my pockets. I hear a click to my right so I quickly lean against the wall as if I was just waiting. They all file out but Amelia glares at me as if she knew I tried to eavesdrop and scolded me for it.

" How did you guys get the guards off your trail," I ask politely.

" We split everyone up," Amelia explains.

" With no help from you," Scarlet mutters under her breath.

" I did what I had to do, I had the item so I had to get it out no matter what, we got it out safely if we wouldn't have then it would be a whole different story," I say defensively.

" Still you shouldn't have just ditched us." Scarlet says as she turns her head away from me.

" Just drop it Scarlet," I say angrily.

" Okay, enough. It is time for you guys to go to your dorms and sleep. It's almost three am," the commander says sternly.

I don't make eye contact with anyone as I leave the HQ. I don't have a dorm at the HQ since my parents don't know I am a spy. I also just like to have some time away from the spy job. I feel excitement as I start to think about having my dad bringing him to one his labs tomorrow, I was always into science, ever since my parents let me go to a summer camp all about science when I was younger and they had enough money. I fell in love with it and my parents even sent me to a boarding school for a couple of years. Now the agency is even helping me advance in building weapons and creating combat cures. I have been so busy I just can't wait to relax and see my parents again.

I race home so my parents won't notice I'm gone. When I reach my house I get ready for sleep. I take a shower and brush my teeth. I then lock all the doors. I then lay in my bed and stare at the ceiling. It takes a while but I finally close my eyes and sleep.

I walk the streets of Los Angeles alone in midday. The sun has just peaked at the very top of the sky. As I walk I mumble a little toon. I study all of the old buildings and casinos as I walk past. I look over at a building and I see a small silhouette of a girl.

"Hello?" I yell as I walk slowly towards her.

The girl turns around and walks into the building. I start gaining speed every second. Now I am sprinting.

I get to the front doors of the building. They are made of clear glass. I cup my hands around my eyes making an oval around them. I press up against the glass to try to get a good look in. I look around the room and it has desks and chairs and long hallways. It's an old hotel. I keep looking making sure to scan every single part of the lobby. I get to a corner in the room and I can see something hiding in the shadows. I know that it' the girl. I open the door quickly, and I jog toward the corner. To my surprise she is gone when I get there.

I take my small pistol out of my pocket for safety. I walk to the middle of where the hallways split, and I look down each one. I look down the one to my left first. Then I look to my right. Down that hallway I see a chair that is tipped over onto it's side. I figure that she must've done that. I start walking again down it.

I keep walking making sure to look at every door. I finally come to a door that is open halfway. I walk in and look around. There are couches, beds, TV's, lamps, tables, and a kitchen. I walk over to one of the lamps and I turn it on so that I can see better. I see another door in the corner that is open, too. I walk over to it and I peer inside. It is a bathroom.

Behind me I see the light go out so that it is darker again. I look over to where the lamp is, and I see the girl standing in the doorway behind it. I finally get a good look at her.

She has ginger hair. I can't really see any other features on her because it is too dark in the room. She walks out of the room, and back into the hall. She turns left so I go after her. I barely walk out, and I get hit in the head. The last thing I see is a blur of carpet and red hair.

I wake up in a pool of sweat. I go over the dream again what was it about. I try to remember the girl that I saw. I remember her hair and the shape of her body. I also barely remember seeing blue eyes. I think harder about it, and then I realize that I had seen her before. I remember seeing her from a mission that Amelia, Scarlet, Kat, and I went on a couple of months ago.

Then a surge of fear comes over, my consciousness is telling me something bad is going to happen. As almost on cue I hear a crash. I get out of my bed and reach my door. I enter my living room. It has a large entertainment center and a table in the middle of the room. An "L" shaped couch is set up in the top of the room. Then I hear a bang at the door. I run into my room and close the door. I lock it, and then I pull out a slick black pistol from a cabinet in my dresser. The door squeaks open, and then I hear it shut. I hear two pairs of feet and some quiet voices. One seems to leave. The other staying in what sounds like the small hallway leading to the dining room. I see my knob on the door turn. That lets me know that someone is trying to get in. The door starts rattling quickly. This is no one I know, at least it doesn't sound like it. The door then is rammed by the person and a crack appears in the middle of the door.

I pull up my pistol and point it towards my door. I shoot five bullets rapidly hoping they hit my target. The person is still okay. He bangs on the door again and it will not take one more. I walk up to the door and point the gun towards it. I peer through the crack and try to see the person. I then see a single brown eye peering through the crack looking directly back at me. I shoot out of fear at where I think his chest is through the door hoping it hits him. I know that I have a limited supply of ammunition.

The banging stops and the room falls silent. The other comes and tries to get in, but it seems that they are skinnier and can't get the door open. The person seems to be pulling out something to help him get in. I then start to shoot. Now it seems I am alone now but I can't go out right now. Who knows if they could still be out there.

It has been about two hours since these people have came into my house. I clutch my gun and decide to open the door. When I open I see the lifeless body of a buff man that has a bullet wound in the middle of his chest. It looks like the other got away. I pass through my whole house. The only place I haven't checked is my parents room. I enter it cautiously, and see a sickening scene. I walk over to them and find a pool of blood surrounding them. They both have multiple stab wounds on their body. I put my arms on the bed and rest my head down on the bed. I shed a tear for them. It leads to more of them which leads to the point where I am coughing.

I wipe my face and leave the room. I can't stand to see the scene of them. I walk to the living room where I sit down and think about the past events of the night. I then remember the spies. They might be in trouble as well. I grab my pistol and open the door. The sun is barely rising and I step out into the city. I sprint towards the subway.
