I am so relieved that I made it out of there. I look at the item wrapped in brown paper that I hold in my hand. Our leader at the Headquarters didn't tell me what it was.

" Hey, guys. Do you know what this is?" I ask as I turn to face them.

I am surprised to find that none of them are there. I then realize that I left them behind. I hear a bang behind me, so I grab out my grappling hook and launch it onto the top of the nearest building. I get up there and start to pant, my heart beating a mile a minute. I look back and see my friends running down below on the street from something. I decide to run, too. I start sprinting across the rooftops while I pull out my mic.

" Amelia, what's happening down there?" I ask.

" The man in the room ordered some sort of guards to chase us," she replies.

" What about the others? Did they all get out?" I ask concerned.

" I think everyone got out but I'm not positive," she says while breathing heavily into the mic.

" Ok, thanks. Meet you back at the HQ,"I say as I jump over a small gap to a lower rooftop.

I pick up my pace as I see a man in pure white clothing chasing me. I jump down into the alleyway and step back a couple of feet to get him off me. I then run down the stairs of the 13th subway station. I reach the bottom and enter a small room branching off the stairwell. It is completely empty except for a heating system in the right corner. I turn the three dials of it in a specific order like a locker combination. When I am done I hit the heating system. It slides to the left revealing a pad inside it with numbers. I enter the code of 7-8-3-5-7-1-3-9-5-3-1. After I enter the code the part of the wall, about the size of a normal door, pushes inwards and slides to the right. I walk in, and behind me I can hear the sound of it closing behind me.

I enter a long hallway that expands out into a huge laboratory filled with gear and weapons and TV's showing certain areas. The room has a slick black color and is glowing with the color white with a hint of blue in it. There are two hallways branching out of the room. I walk down the right corridor and reach the last door, the commander's room. I walk into the room and slam the item on the man's desk. I then take a chair and sit across from him.

" Adrian, what is so important about this item that would make you want us to risks our lives out there for it?" I ask curious and angry.

" You will find out in due time, and call me Commander Hunter," he replies sternly.

" You make us go on this dangerous mission and you don't eve...." I argue as I hear the door open.

I turn around and see Amelia, Scarlet, and Kat coming through the doorway. They are covered in ash and dirt and have scowls on their faces. Scratches are scattered all over their skin.

" What happened to you guys? Looks like you were thrown into a garbage can," I mock.

" Well after you jolted out of the room the rope fell, we didn't have time to set up a new one so we had to take the fastest route which was the garbage shoot, and who would have thought their garbage was full of broken glass," Amelia says sternly.

" So, if you don't mind can you please get out of the room we need to talk to the commander," Scarlet asks angrily.

" I was talking to him first so back off," I snap. "This is more important than anything you have say," Kat replies as they all walk up to me.

They shove me out into the hall. I really dislike them. They are always getting on my nerves. Even though they may be a point behind us on the chart doesn't mean they can push us around. I'm usually the one taking the fall for them because they blame me when something goes wrong.
