Why was my mum so cheap? 
She had so much money, but she decided to put me on SADC's most dangerous and cheapest plane, but maybe I was being dramatic. I was probably just letting my anxiety take over me. It had been a sunny August morning, and the sky was sprinkled with ivory clouds. The black, slightly beat-up jeep was slowly parking in reverse outside the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport. The engine gave a shudder and the car fell silent. I opened the door, feeling anxious. I'm not going to lie. I gave my mom a pleading glance. The only thing she said
"You got yourself into this mess. Now deal with the consequences , Tumi. "
The next moment, I was on a plane to Cape Town by myself, not knowing what to expect. All I knew was that my mum was right and that everything that was happening was my fault and I even deserved this trashy ass flight.
