The Project [DISCONTINUED]

「CHAPTER THREE」

Back to Azrail's POV

Azrail was about to cross the road when he felt a body whack into his side. Ow he thought to himself as he felt a shooting pain in his side. He looked around and seen the person who had ran into him. His enemy, Kai Lindon. Of course out of all people it had to be him.

Azrail expected Kai to lash out on him and say about how he was in his way but no, he did the exact opposite of that. "So-sorry.." he stuttered and he then ran off. Weird, he seemed almost scared.. I wonder why. After that thought he went on thinking about how he might be late getting to the library, and so he sped up slightly. Completely forgetting what had happened just moments earlier.

When he arrived at the library he seen Subira there peacefully reading. He cleared his throat.
"Oh hey Azzie! I thought you were gonna forget about me."

"You know I'd never forget about meeting you here!"

"True!"

"Do you want to go somewhere a little more private, so I can tell you about this little project of mine?"

"Oh yes! Of course, I almost forgot about that. Sure let's go to our usual spot."

"Okay." And so off they went going up to a normal looking bookcase. Subira had pulled out 3 books. To anyone on the outside it would just look like someone getting a couple of books, but it was actually a secret sequence to open a door.

A secret room behind the bookcase, which the owner of the library had specially made for the both of them. It was cosy in there: with a little vintage green sofa, a gold coffee table, pictures of them both when they were little on the walls, a mini bookshelf with all their favourite books, a light muddy brown colour on the walls, 2 little lamps giving the room a yellow light to it, and shelves with all sorts on them.

The room was aesthetically pleasing to look at, it was incredibly beautiful. They'd both come here whenever they were feeling down, whenever they were happy. They shared so many wonderful moments in this little room. Sometimes they'd even listen in to peoples conversations, they would be nosy.
As soon as they got into the room Azrail sat of the little sofa and patted the area next to him, signalling he wanted her to sit. And so she did.

"So what is this little project of yours that you have been going on about?"

"I know this may sound crazy but.. I want to try and find out who this serial killer is. It scares me that innocent people are dying."

"That does sound quite crazy. But if your doing it I'm not gonna let you do it alone! So I'm in, we can do this."  Azrail let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you Susu, I'm glad you'll be helping me. I need someone smart like you to help me" he said with a smile painted across his face. And she smiled back.

What they didn't know was that they weren't alone, someone was listening in. And that someone would not make it easy for them to figure out who it was.
