In the world there's so much to see
But the void has so much to give
The world can't be the judge of me
Whether I rest or choose to live
The world has colors, loud and bright
They hurt my eyes and burn my sight
The void is painted black and white
It calms my soul yet has no light
The world has noise you hear everywhere
The void has peace unlike anywhere
The world's air is hard to breathe
The world has sins hiding beneath
The void is pure, naked and vast
Its darkness makes me forget my past
To rest in the void is what I desire
For I cannot bear the world anymore
Burning I am in the life's fire
Enduring a pain like never before
