Unexpectedly Lucky

CHAPTER 2

Tahimik lang akong nakikinig kay Mr. Gonzales. Entrepreneurship ang subject niya, which is about businesses and may math yun. Unti-unti akong dinadalaw ng antok at pinipigilan kong pumikit.

Pagka tapos mag discussed ni sir ay may pinagawa siya sa amin. Buti na lang madali lang yun at nasagot ko lahat. Pagkatapos namin gawin yun ay break time na namin and as usual di ako kakain kasi wala akong gana.

It was now our Physics subject and habang nagdi-discuss si Ms. Agulay ay nagsusulat na din ako.

"Ms. Reyes, go to the board and answer number 2" sabi sakin ni Ms. Agulay.

I went to the board and answered number 2. It was a piece of cake actually.

"Very good, Ms. Reyes. As expected you're really smart." Sabi ni Ms. Agulay bago nagproceed sa discussion.

Natapos na ang morning period namin at lunch break na. Me and Alex went to buy some food at the cafeteria.

It's now our P.E and Mr. Pascua is discussing, habang nagtuturo siya ay nagsusulat naman ako ng mga important details sa notebook ko. After the discussion, Mr. Pascua mention to us that this week he will group us and we will dance.

Uwian na at inayos ko na lahat ng gamit ko. Papaalis na sana ako dahil gusto ko ng umuwi pero napatigil ako sa lakad ko ng marinig kong sumigaw si Alex.

"Oh bakit?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"Nagmamadali ka tol?"

"Oo gusto ko ng umuwi, bakit?"

"Gala sana tayo, ayaw mo?"

"Next time na lang tol, it will be my treat. Deal?"

"Okay deal! Oh cge ingat ka sa pag uwi."

"Ikaw din mag-iingat ka."

Nakarating na ako dito sa house namin and andito si mom and dad. My dad is actually a lawyer while my mom is a business woman. They are busy with their works but they still make sure to spend time with me when it's weekend.

"You're early. How's school?" Tanong ni dad.

"Good, nothing special dad."

"There's some food at the kitchen table, I know you're hungry." Mom said.

"Thanks mom, you're the best!"

Habang kumakain ako ng meryenda ay nagce-cellphone na rin ako to make me entertain. Buti na lang walang assignment na pinagawa ng mga teachers namin. So far nagugustuhan ko mga classmates ko and teachers dahil nagtutulungan kaming mga students at di kami naglalabanan while our teachers naman ay tinutulungan nila kaming intindihin ang mga lessons. But, still I'm shy to talk to them.

There is this girl, who is friendly to everyone. She came to my table and asked my name, and I said I was Max Dale Reyes. She said she was Jazelle Ocampo and she offered her hand at nag shake hands kami. To be honest, I don't really know all of them. Sinasanay ko pa lang ang sarili ko sa environment namin.
