So Tower of Fantasy came out to global servers like a few days ago and I've been trying it out since the setting and characters interested me!
There's a world chat feature where nothing gets filtered whatsoever, so I've been seeing some comments that are the typical comparisons or Genshin-antis falsely saying stuff about Genshin that aren't even true. These people are trying way too hard to get Genshin taken down.

But also the other side are the Genshin fans feeling the need to compare every single detail of ToF to Genshin. Btw I want to say that it's cool if you see similarities and can't help but think of Genshin when you're playing ToF! Makes sense since Genshin came out first and you played that first.
It's only a problem when you call out on ToF's "plagiarism" with things that aren't only exclusive to Genshin.
Isn't MI-A's design and like just her existence literally plagiarized from Paimon in Genshin Impact-?

Yeah, some things are most likely an inspiration from a Genshin, but calling it "plagiarism" isn't really the right word for it. Both games are different and have their own charms to them.
And then another side, you have the people who hate Genshin a lot and keep repeating the same things over and over again. I've already seen these comments every day already lol -

The story and lore in Genshin was never good anyways. Idk why people keep hyping it up. Tower of fantasy is leagues better with their plot. But then again I didn't really read genshin's story lmfao so glad there's a skip button in this game

Guys, it's cool if you like one game over the other, but no need to be negative for no reason. Let people enjoy Genshin and/or Tower of Fantasy. Someone liking one game over the other doesn't affect you whatsoever lmao.
There was also this one convo I thought ended well. The guy who I'll call "Zero" was really trying so hard to convince people why Genshin shouldn't be played anymore. One reason is because of the shippers:
It's so annoying once the game started to ship the traveler with like every character like shenhe and keqing. Like those crazy ass shippers are the problem
Another person (Leaf): well yeah I get what u mean but u shouldn't let the shippers control ur enjoyment of the game, y'know.... I don't like the idea of shipping but hey, if they aren't doing anything to hurt me or anyone else and shoving their ships down our throats, then idc let them ship all they want

Honestly if everybody can just choose to spend their energy on things they actually like INSTEAD OF being negative and hateful all the time, there wouldn't be so many problems in not only the Genshin fandom but also in real life.
Obviously there are some things where it's better to report or to try educating the person about, but with this, I'm talking about shipping fictional characters. Don't like the ship? Block it.
