Again - credits to Violet for suggesting this topic idea, explaining things for me, and giving me some comments. Ty sm again!

So there's a Genshin Impact Reddit page where there are people on there known as "mods" who moderate the page and basically check to make sure nobody is breaking the rules. Cool, except..

Someone posted a fanart of a shirtless, very stacked Childe with like a black harness on. It ended up getting removed by a mod apparently bc it didn't meet the rule of tagging the post as "NSFW".

Again - cool, except for the fact that this (or these?) mods remove every single fan art of a shirtless Genshin male character even IF the post is properly tagged as "NSFW" which is why people are complaining and making fun of the mods by reposting that same fan art (and tagging it properly) only for the post to get removed again lmao.

Apparently they're chill with seeing a bunch of NSFW Genshin girls with the typical sexual pose, legs spread out and in a bikini, but when it comes to a shirtless guy....

Nope, disgusting. Can't deal with it. So the answer is to remove it even though the person followed the rules.

Ew. Typical straight women.

Women moment.

OF COURSE a woMaN would like something as vile as this. Literally nothing attractive about this post

GIVE ME BACK MY HOT KEQING WTF IS THIS

Violet also told me that this Reddit page has been problematic for a long time with their biases.

There was this one post talking about how the banner for this one female character was really successful and showed data on it. Similarly, also showed successful data for the male character. The post was marked "questionable".

Then another person made the same post, except took out the male character and the post was marked as valid.

It's okay if you prefer the female over male characters, but to show that bias in unfair ways isn't cool. Be fair and allow people to post shirtless men if they want to. Why is it that the fanarts of women are okay for the mods, but the fanarts of men aren't okay?

According to Violet and other Reddit users I've seen, Reddit is mostly filled with White and straight men who have a lot of toxicity.... so with that said, this whole situation makes sense lmao. Still sad to see regardless.

Question for this chapter - are you more of a Genshin men lover or Genshin women lover? Or do you like both equally? I like both equally. My friend is a huge women lover for the Genshin girls lol!
