Growing up, Hannah's older brother Ben always told her stories of history as if they were fairytales and she never could seem to get enough. That love of storytelling inspired Hannah to want to tell those stories to the next generation, so she became a teacher. It was the much safer route that pleased her father compared to the path that her brother had chosen. Hannah didn't think she could ever deal with that much disappointment.

But Hannah's seemingly simple life becomes vastly complicated when her brother and her college crush decide to steal the Declaration of Independence. And to make matters worse, she finds herself roped into matters and on the run from the FBI with some lady named Abigail.

Oddly enough, Hannah finds herself with a new outlook on life as they solve the mysteries to find the treasure. And it doesn't hurt that she might be crushing on Riley Poole . . . again.
