he then knocked on the door and it was answered by harry himself and internally scowled in disgust he could see the boys undernourishment and he could also tell of the bruises but kept his face clear

"is vernon dursley home i am here on a business proposition after hearing about an unfortunate accident last summer i hope i can remedy that" gellert asked kindly

"WHO IS IT BRAT" petunia called as she came to the door

"ah you must be the lady of the house i am looking for who i assume to be your husband Mr. vernon dursley is he home, as i told this boy here i had heard of the unfortunate incident my associates went through last summer, i hope to remedy any problems that may have caused and maybe even strike an even better deal" gellert said

"oh of course sir, please come in what was your name" petunia asked

"gellert grindelwald" gellert said harry's eyes widened he knew the name he had heard it before but professor dumbledore said he was "safe" here so how did the first dark lord get in

petunia gestured the man to the sitting room not noticing harry's alarmed expression when vernon entered he found himself had a wand pointed at him and all the kind pretenses were gone to only find rage

"HOW DARE YO-" vernon was cut off by gellert casting a silencing charm

"you will speak when spoken to filthy muggle" gellert said darkly as he gestured for petunia and their fat brat to join vernon

"now listen and listen well, i have heard about what you have done to my grandson, and you have gotten the ire of the first dark lord, i am gellert grindelwald, you will sit there and you will be quiet or you will be punished" gellert said

"now harry, if i have scared you in any way i apologize, i am your grandfather, my name as i have said is gellert grindelwald" gellert said to his grandson kindly and genuinely he had learned with credence and he had genuine love for the boy in front of him

"your my grandfather" harry said in shock gellert nodded

"i am sure many have told you of your mother but during my campaign i couldn't keep a child safe so i placed her in an orphanage and me and vinda your grandmother had made certain two good muggles adopted her, we made sure our precious lilith was in that orphanage for as little time as possible then i personally set up defensive charms around the evens home to protect your mother, when i was captured i had thought that she was well on her way to a long life, when i heard she had died, i was in despair but when i heard you were alive and that you vanquished voldemort i was in shock, i knew albus dumbledore well, or at least once upon a time i did, i had thought he would place you with a family that would care for you not this muggle filth" gellert said

"so my mom was a pureblood" i asked he nodded

"that makes me a pureblood" i said

"indeed it does and i will be taking you from these muggles today, in fact if you would get packed i will take you right now" the old man said

"really" he asked i nodded

his excitement was flowing off of him as he ran up the stairs to get packed

"now then, normally i would erase your memories of this entire event but in this case i think that, albus should know who has taken the child, tell him he will never have control over my grandson ever again, i will be sure of it" gellert said as harry came back down the stairs with a full trunk

"let us go harry, have you ever been through side-along apparition" gellert asked i shook my head he sighed

"grab my arm tightly, and prepare yourself harry" gellert said i did so and we apparated
