before the actual story, i'd like to set up a few disclaimers and a list of possible love interests.
DISCLAIMERS/TRIGGER WARNINGS
all characters are aged up by at least three years. there will be no sexual content in this book, except for maybe a few innuendoes, and the purpose of the age changes is because it is set in a more adult-college student type setting and i did not want to write about dongha yeon when he's a thirteen year old, even in a non romantic context like this.
dongha and characters under 18 are NOT romantic love interests. any possible interest described in that way is platonic, and the protagonist will not have a romantic relationship with them. they will have a mentor or sibling type friendship, but nothing romantic.
anne is using they/them pronouns in this because although they're written to be as a male wearing whatever they want, the SWANK website uses gender neutral pronouns for the english translation of the brand. i will also use they/them pronouns for aoi when they appear, just like the english wiki.
there will be a little drinking, but i'm not entirely comfortable writing that as a minor and will likely only mention it as something minor because some characters canonically drink and smoke. there might be smoking, as well, but also mentioned very little.
there will be mentions of mourning and death, as the protagonists mom passed away and her grief is described several times but not in a frequent every chapter type manor
there will also be a little mention of characters trauma, and so i recommend trying to read up on that beforehand. that includes shiki and nayutas history, and that leads into the next tw
mentions of suicide and depression. this is also only covered in passing, and mainly just about nayuta and shiki's history together.
