7; the return of lola aldana

damn, that lil girl is quick.

avani screams when she sees me, and the impact of our bodies connecting almost knocks me over.

"i'm gonna piss my pants, lola, holy fuck!" she spoke loudly over the music, making me laugh harder than i have in a while. "i missed you so much, hermosa." i cup her face and kiss her head.

she grinned and grabbed one of my hands, "bitch, we're getting drunk, come on!"

i laugh again as she drags me over to a table full of drinks, where i see many familiar faces.

i smile as i say hi to all of them, and meet a few people as well.

one person i really hit it off with is cory winn, who i've heard alot about but never met. he reminds me alot of daniel, so us getting along was a given.

"hey party people!" nailea slurs, and i can tell she's drunk, as she approaches the couch i'm sitting on with cory and veondre.

"hey, nai," cory chuckles, "i can tell you're having fun."

"duh, i mean, my best friend is back in town," she smiles and i giggle as she sits on my lap, draping her legs across cory's.

"i still have no idea where the hell i'm sleeping tonight." i laugh a bit, drinking some of the vodka out of my solo cup. "literally come over to my place, hello? we can sleep in the same bed cause you're basically my girlfriend." nailea shrugged with her drunken smile.

"say less." i nodded, and playfully glare at her as she takes a large gulp from my cup.

i don't even have time to scold her before i hear an unrecognizable voice talking in my direction.

"hey lola! it's so nice to finally meet you," she stretches her hand out towards me and gives me a forced smile.

both veondre and nailea's faces drop in an instant, and i can feel cory try to hold in his laugh from beside me as he takes a sip of his beer. "um...i'm sorry, who are you?" i try my best to be polite, but i can tell my efforts didn't work as planned when her smile becomes even more forced.

"brianna. vinnie's girlfriend?" she raised her eyebrows, and i felt my heart drop all the way down to my damn ass.

seriously? why is she coming up to me? i mean it seems nice, like she's just trying to be friendly, but it also feels passive aggressive. we could've just stayed out of each other's way.

"oh! of course, hi, hello." i smile at her and shake her hand. "can't believe you're back in california. what a surprise," she lets out a dry chuckle, "how's it been so far?"

this is weird. i'm uncomfortable, and i can tell everyone else on the couch is too. especially veondre.

"i mean, it's only been a few hours, but yeah, it's nice reconnecting with everyone." i nod with a shrug, trying my best to be casual.

"good, good...well, i just wanted to say hello and welcome back, on behalf of me and vinnie."

me and nailea look at each other for hald a second at the way she emphasized vinnie's mention.

"see you around!" she smiles and waves a little before walking back to wherever the hell she came from.

the couch stays quiet, but i'm sure we're all thinking the same thing.

nailea clears her throat a bit, "well. ready to go?"

sorry if this chapter isn't as well written as usual or doesn't have my usual writing style. im not really in the right headspace rn and i was kind of forcing myself to get this one out cause i didnt have motivation😭 ik its bad to not have passion behind it but gaining more n more readers has been so so so incredible but also overwhelming. hopefully this was good enough <3

do yall think i should do a vinnie x male oc fanfic for all the vin fanboys? i know it must suck for them cause they never get representation, but i also dont know if it'd be disrespectful to vinnie or not to go against his claimed sexuality. also i dont want it to seem like im fetishizing lol. pls tell me ur honest thoughts!!!
