Chapter 1: Ami

It was now night time. Nikostos was now more or less capable of walking with the new gravity. Ami was walking ahead and saw something glowing on the ground. It had the shape of a diamond and looked pretty. Ami was going to grab it, but stepped on the tail of a beast. A wolf-like creature with yellow eyes. The wolf turned around and screamed at Ami who was terrified. Nikostos knew Ami was in danger, so a grin took place on his face as he approached the wolf.

Nikostos: HEY!

The wolf turned back and opened his mouth. A glowing source was charging up from his mouth. It suddenly turned into a laser beam going straight to Nikostos. The impact made the boy fly away against a rock. He fell unconscious immediately.

???:Hey! Wake up, kid.

Nikostos woke up under the yell of a silhouette. He looked up and saw a woman with white hair, purple eyes and purple-dark coat.

???:Look, I'll be brief: you're from another world. You may already have noticed the physical changes. Some things you're used to have completely changed here.

Nikostos: Yeah, right. I've noticed the obvious.

???: In this world, your abilities are amazing. Use them to do good.

Nikostos: You know, *cough* I don't want to be told what to do. I'll do what I want depending of the circumstances.

???:...Fine. You should save the girl. She won't survive long without this on her head.

The woman gave him the headband of Ami. She then gave him a visor and a sword.

???: These 2 items were very hard to get. make sure you don't lose them.

Nikostos got up and throwed back the sword to the woman.

Nikostos: I'm sure I can go without this. I survived 8 years of solitude, it won't be a pack of wolves that will stop me.

???: 8 years of solitude, huh?...  You're a tough one, then.

The woman was about to go away, but Nikostos still had 1 question for her..

Nikostos: You seem familiar... haven't we met before?

???: ...No.

The woman walked away. Nikostos then put the visor on his face and saw a screen. It showed his current objective, at 150m. He sprinted toward his direction and realized how much faster he has become since he went in this world. In 2 minutes, he found Ami unconscious. The visor was showing her ''HP'' quickly going down. Nikostos approached her and put the headband on her head. Her HP was going up slowly but surely. Nikostos's expression went sad again. He was, for the first time, happy for another.

But then, 3 wolves showed, surrounding Nikostos and Ami. The boy grabbed Ami, put her on his shoulder and jumped over one of the wolves. After landing, the boy ran away as fast as possible. He watched behind him and saw the wolves were getting closer. Nikostos saw he won't make it this way, so he did a big jump on the edge of a cliff. But the wolves jumped and one of them managed to put a claw hit on the back of Nikostos who fell down. The boy dropped Ami who was still recovering. Nikostos looked at her, wondering if he could save her at this moment. He put himself up, slowly, turned towards the 3 wolves who were looking him. He wore a big smile looking at them.

Nikostos then sprinted at them, ready to die. One of the wolves sprinted too, ready to get his prey. They hit each other, making the wind fly and the leaves of the trees shake. Nikostos underestimated the wounds on his back, making him weak after just one attack. He fell again on his knees, while the wolves were surrounding him. He was scared. He was laughing.

Nikostos: (For real, i should've picked up that sword.)

He then closed his eyes, laughing like there was no tomorrow... Then he felt his energy coming back. He looked behind him and saw Ami, who just shot an arrow to him. He felt strong enough to defeat his opponents. He attacked them with all his new force and, after 5 minutes non-stop, managed to stop them. The wolves flee in direction of the woods, leaving the two others alone.

Nikostos: *Depressive face* I'm really happy that you're okay. Where do we go from now on?

Ami dragged Nikostos to a direction she was sure of. In 20 minutes, they arrived at the massive doors of a great castle...

(Just so you know, I've written this plus the prologue in 1 morning. I'll take a pause for now, but I'll come back soon, don't worry!)

Don't think it's easy to do a fanfiction: I have the intention of doing a different plot, so don't judge it's too much similar to GS's plot.
