This is insane!

I have to stop her before it's too late.

Chip thought determined as he takes a sprinting head start but ends up falling behind regardless, as he helplessly sees the hooded girl tremendously pushing the victim over to his doom inside the portal!

"Hey! Stop!" Chip yelled out while trying to catch up to the mysterious figure.

But before he could do anything else, the girl suddenly disappears, using an unusual smoky cloud spell with a devious, evil smile on her face.

While the closing portal had immediately turned into powerful blast that sent him flying backwards, due to his small size.

Which him pushed against the concrete wall and had hit the back of his head extremely hard!

Causing him to quickly black out just as the portal disappears to a quiet close.

With not a single trace of it was left to be seen by anyone's account but of his own.

That is, if he is able to recollect on what had just happened to him as he sits there lying on the ground, unconscious and unable to move any further.

Luckily, word got out from the inside of the party that there is a great deal of disturbance from the outside as loads of people stumbled upon the back entry of the building and had discovered only Chip, to their horrified shock, injured in the middle of the alley as if he had been mugged and left behind at the scene of the crime.

"Oh my goodness! Someone call 911!" A random British man yelled out in the tone of urgency.

While another individual, who happened to be a professional in the medical field, quickly ran over to the area and got ahold of Chip to check for his tiny pulse to see how stable he is in his condition.

Not long after 5 minutes or so had passed, the ambulances and police cars were coming in high speed like large waves of an ocean tide to a beach.

When both types of teams arrive to the scene, they tend to their jobs in an orderly professional manner.

One officer took ahold of some of the witnesses account to what they saw while the other officer asks others to step back away from the yellow tape so that they can let the CSI analyze the area for clues such as footprints and other types of evidence for processing of the crime scene.

Once the two officers were finished with their small tasks, they meet up by the yellow tape and share their thoughts on what might have happened here.

"So, what do we got here?" The officer with a light brown mustache asked, who was handling the overseeing crowd at the time and goes by the name of Johnson on his badge.

"One possible knocked out victim and one possible account of a missing man from a concerned friend who goes by the name of Carl James Birman." The other officer with dark hair explained to his partner, with the name of Charles on his badge.

"The state's District Attorney?" Johnson asked, in surprise.

"That's the one." Charles officiated.

"Okay, and what about our other witness? The little guy? Surly he might have seen what had happened to him." Johnson pointed out.

"That may be so, but we'll have to see once the doctors tends to his head wound first at the hospital." Charles informed.

"Well, what's his name so, that we can let his friends and family know of his condition?" Johnson asked, curiously.

"I think the nurse that found him there and checked on his pulse, had told me that they
recognized him as one of the Rescue Ranger's biggest star, Chip." Charles recalled.

"Captain Steckler's friend from the Rescue Rangers Private detective agency?! What was he doing there at the party in the first place?!" Johnson asked, in utter shock.

"Who knows, perhaps he might have figured out who took Birman and all of those other people from the case, too." Charles suggested with a shrug.

"Oh boy. This isn't good. We need to let the Captain know, right away." Johnson declared with a serious concerned tone in his voice.

"I'm on it" Charles said as he quickly patched in through to the rest of the department by his hand held radio, to let them know of the situation, at hand.

Even though this all would soon be a blur to Chip once he wakes up from the head injury.

What he doesn't know is that his risky move was about to a take a bumpy turn for the city.

Along with his other friends, who are soon yet to find out how badly this can all go south in a moments notice.
