Chapter 3: Introducing family

Seriously all my uncle cared about was wine

-Ei: Please it's just wine

-Venti (nameless bard): Said someone who was raging when there was no dango on the plane

-Ei: HEY YOUR PLANE IS FIRST CLASS AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN OFFER MY FAVOURITE DESERT I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE MAD!

-Yae: Calm down darling

Both my aunt and uncle were arguing I just ignored them and went to my siblings until Hu tao pounced on me

-Hu Tao: Hey cousin miss me?

-Xiao: Get off me you bimbo pigtails!

She told me all about their trip and at the museum they went that shows the war at khaenri'ah

-Hu Tao: Pfft- You should have seen Bonanus's face she started crying and felt bad for the people of khaenri'ah HAHAHAHA!

-Bonanus: Hey no need to bring that topic up!

I just went to the kitchen to seat at the table and eat my almond tofu but surprise surprise the kitchen was a complete chaos the maids were all panicking and cooking for my family but that didn't stop me from eating the tofu my future husband made for me. When I opened the bag there was a little note saying "Hope you like it -Aether♡" I smiled when I read the note I ate the tofu and to no surprise it was delicious Aether's such a great cook. I was eating alone until Menogias joined me at the table

-Menogias: Mind if I seat here

-Xiao: Not at all

-Menogias: What's this?

-Xiao: Hey give that note back!

My brother Menogias read the note and asked me who's Aether

-Menogias: Xiao who's Aether??

-Xiao: None of your bussiness! Now give the note back brother

-Menogias: Did he cook that for you?

-Xiao: Yes he did

-Menogias: Are you two dating?

-Xiao: Why are you asking? Now give it back

Thankfully my brother wasn't being a brat and gave the note back

Aether's POV-
-Aether: Lumine I'm home

-Lumine: Welcome home how was work?

-Aether: Exhausting but I did get my payment 20,000 mora I can buy you new clothes

-Lumine: Really?!

-Aether: Yeps there is also still left over 70,000 mora from the money Xiao gave us let's go shopping tomorrow

-Lumine: Aight

-Aether: I'll be cooking dinner now

I cooked dinner for me and my sister and ate dinner Lumine washed the dishes since I was the one who cooked I went to my room and gave Xiao a call cause I was lonely and I miss him

Xiao's POV-
The maids finished cooking and prepared dinner we all had a nice family dinner and there was a lot of food jade parcels, hash brown, steak, adeptus temptation and a lot more

-Venti (nameless bard): Ehem ehem please fetch me a bottle of dandelion wine

-Servant 1: Yes master Venti

Luckily we were all able to finish the food, well aunty Yae, Hu Tao and Boscasious was the one who ate the most

-Indarias: God I'm so full

-Hu Tao: You barely even ate anything pass me the skewers please!

Just then my phone rang I noticed it was Aether, I politely excused myself from the table and answer my call

-Aether on the phone: Hi Xiao

-Xiao: Hey

-Aether on the phone: What are you doing?

-Xiao: Just eating dinner with my family

-Aether on the phone: Oh no! Did I interrupt you?

-Xiao: No not at all why are you calling by the way?

-Aether on the phone: Because I was bored and besides I miss you

Aether missed me?! I never expected to hear that from him

-Aether on the phone: Xiao?

-Xiao: Ah yeah I miss you too

Well my family heard that and they thought that I had a boyfriend/girlfriend

-Venti (nameless bard):You didn't tell me your son had a new girlfriend

-Zhongli: It's boyfriend actually and no he didn't tell me how was I supposed to know?!

-Yae and Indarias: I hope he's not a gold digger

-Aether on the phone: Also me and Lumine are going shopping tomorrow do you want to come?

-Xiao: Sure

-Aether on the phone: See you tomorrow bye!

Aether hang up and I went back to the table and I saw everyone glaring at me even the servants?!

-Xiao: Why are you all glaring at me?!

-Childe: You didn't even tell us you had a boyfriend!

-Boscasious: Yeah we're your family we should know about your relationship and approve of him!

-Xiao: WHAT IN THE TEYVAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT I DON'T HAVE A BOYFRIEND

-Ei: We heard you on the phone and you said "I miss you too"

-Xiao: That was only Aether! He said he misses me how was I supposed to reply?!

-Hu Tao and Venti (nameless bard): Who is he anyway?

-Childe, Zhongli: Xiao's bestfriend and crush

-Xiao: Geez way to expose me dads. I'm going to my room I'm going shopping with Aether tomorrow

-Bonanus: Can I come with you tomorrow?

-Xiao: Sure
