I'm holding my phone with my very sticky hands reason why I can't afford to touch my oily face. I forgot to bring my handkerchief, so I decided to rubbed my face at the sleeves of my coat.
Someone's caught me, his eyes looked at me with so much annoyance but he didn't say a word. He probably judging me in his mind but It's alright. Such a waste of time. I sighed and turned my head into the window. The cold wind welcomed my whole face, as the rain suddenly fall to the ground. It's still summer, the last day to be exact.
I once believe story starts at the beginning, but how can we say that the story had started?
I embraced myself, remembering how great this summer is to me. I never thought the story already started at the year my mind was full of innocence.
"Sinong crush mo?" my bestfriend asked me.
I have so many insecurities too. And I have this thought na baka 'di rin ako magustuhan ng taong 'yon. Takot akong malaman niya, pagkatapos ay layuan ako.
Tumitig ako sa kaniya 'tsaka umiling iling. Kapag nalaman niya, baka magalit siya sakin. At ayaw kong mangyari 'yon.
"Wala." sagot ko.
"Talaga ba?" mangha niyang tanong.
I nodded, giving her my genuine smile.
"Sige."
Every friday sa bahay siya natutulog, we're member of the youth choir in our church. So, I envy her for being whole package.
My biggest secret was, I have feelings towards her m.u named Ryle. The reason why I didn't tell her who the hell is my crush that time is that I'm afraid she might think I want to stole her boyfriend from her. I don't want to lose a friend only just for a handsome boy.
He's almost perfect, I can't say anything bad against his physical appearance, who wouldn't fall for him anyway? He known as the heartthrob in our campus. A young girl like me, was patiently waiting for him to give me, atleast a look.
My young heart hurt because of it. They never force me to do such things and I can't see myself being in her situation.
Her biological father died back when she was only a three. For now, she's living with her mom's new husband.
I asked with so much curiosity.
"Nasa malayo." tanging sagot niya.
