"that was...really fucking good.." Eddie pants turning his head to yours chuckling as he smiled
"you sure your able for band practice?" you questioned smiling back at him
"you sure your able to walk?" he joked laughing while you playfully hit his chest
you both get up and quickly get dressed, you wait at the front door while Eddie took down his guitar and walked out with it then carefully placed it in the van

you both drove to Gareth's house, once you arrived you saw Gareth and Fred waiting in the garage with the equipment already set up, you got out of the van and greeted Gareth and Fred while Eddie followed holding his guitar in his hand
"dude your late.." Gareth said in a annoyed tone at Eddie
"well i was busy.." Eddie replied now glancing at you with a smirk slowly creeping on his face
you watched them play a few songs, admiring Eddie while he played, head banging while strumming the guitar and sticking out his tongue while he was focused, you couldn't stop smiling watching him play. he looked at you every so often flashing a smile each time his eyes met yours, once they were finished you waited while they put away the equipment and listened to them talk
"man i can't believe you have a girlfriend" Gareth laughed
"yeah i thought you were still in love with Chrissy" Fred added laughing now with Gareth
"uh..no..that was before i met y/n" Eddie almost muttered looking uncomfortable
"yeah man you settled down since you couldn't have Chrissy" Gareth's words felt like a stab in your heart while he joked along with Fred
"dude you were so in love with Chrissy, i see how you always look at her" Fred added
"will you both shut up" Eddie sighed rolling his eyes back while rubbing his hands on his face annoyed
"we're just saying it's good you quickly moved on" Gareth patted Eddie's shoulder
with your feelings hurt you quickly walked away from Eddie's van which they all now noticed you've been listening, Gareth and Fred quickly stop laughing and both looked at Eddie in guilt and regret
"y/n wait!" Eddie quickly catches up to you
"leave me alone" you muttered avoiding to look at him while you try walk away from him
"y/n your being ridiculous it was a old crush" Eddie said annoyed grabbing your wrist stopping you making you face him
"a old crush? it's not exactly old when you still look at her like that Eddie" you snapped trying to pull your wrist out of his grasp
"look at her like what?" Eddie said confused holding tightly to your wrist
"like you still want her, you can't just date me because i'm the next best thing besides from her and i will not be the person you settle for just because you cannot have her.." you snap again fighting back your tears while your eyes stare into his
"y/n..." he stuttered trying to find words to say
"let go.." you don't let him speak and try pull your arm away but Eddie grips tightly
"Eddie let go your hurting me.." your words made him quickly release his hold
you continue to walk away from him while rubbing the wrist Eddie tightly gripped on you left him standing there watching you leave, after awhile of walking you made your way to Family Video since Robin and Steve could probably distract you for an hour or so, you walked in making the small bell jingle with a soft sweet tune, Robin's head quickly turned to face the door and watched you hesitantly and shyly walk in
"oh hey y/n you okay?" Robin questioned placing a box of tapes on the counter
"uh hey...i'm fine.." you fought the tears back while your voice cracked
"okay...well you can stay and help us out if you want, Steve is in the back " Robin smiled kindly then continuing to sort out the box of tapes
"hey Robin i got- oh hey y/n" Steve says walking out the back his eyes lighting up once he saw you
"hey Steve.." you said still quiet trying to stabilise yourself from breaking down
they both looked at eachother concerned but continued with their work while you looked around, Robin would ramble on about Vickie while Steve would look at you making a gun shape with his hand and putting it next to his head making you laugh, after some conversations and helping Robin and Steve around the store their shift ended
"well i see you two losers later" Robin grabbed her bag making her way to the door and waving goodbye to you and Steve
"hey um..could you give me a ride home?" you hesitantly asked turning to Steve
"uh yeah sure.." Steve looked at you a bit confused
Steve closed Family Video and you both got into his car driving to the trailer park, you rested your head on the window watching cars past by, Steve would glance at you every so often hesitant to break the silence
"..you okay?.." he spoke quietly turning his head to you then quickly back on the road
"yeah just tired.." you turned to him with a small smile reassuring him
"so how's Eddie? everything going okay there?" he asked nervously
"yeah he's fine..." you sighed
Steve pulls up to the trailer park entrance stopping the car and shifting his body to face you looking concerned and nervous
"well you know i'm always here if you need to talk y/n" he placed his hand on your shoulder with a worried look
"thank you Steve i'll see you later" you smiled getting out the car and softly waving him goodbye
you walked up to your trailer about to walk in but you hesitated and turn to look at Eddie's trailer, his van was parked outside so he was home. you stood there questioning whether to go into Eddie's trailer and talk to him which could lead to another argument or your own trailer to rest and give yourself time to think everything through before speaking with Eddie.
