"We're running out of time" I screamed to my best friend. We were sprinting down the streets of New York City in tuxedos. We have 5 minutes to make it to the Empire State Building, and ride the elevator to the top. We knew we would be late, but everyone was waiting on us, and since we were the two--

"My mom's calling me!" He yells. I laughed expecting this moment to come. "What should I do?

"Answer, obviously!" I yell back to him as we continue to run. I can hear his mom yelling at him asking where he is.

"I know Mom we are getting in the elevator now." He gasps into the phone. It wasn't a total lie we were waiting on the elevator to show up. "Okay see you in a minute. I love you, bye!"

This seems like the longest elevator ride of my life. I'm so nervous I don't know what to do. I want to cry, laugh, and run all at the same time. However, when I feel his hand in mine the whole world stops. I know at that moment I am making the right decision. That's why when the elevator dings letting us know we've reached our destination I don't hesitate to walk down the aisle. We reach the altar, and all I see is him in all his glory. I swear that time stopped. He seemed to be glowing standing in front of me.
I can't stop smiling like a dope. I start to feel tears of joy roll down my face. This is the best moment of my life. So to lock this moment in time I say the two magic words that will keep me bound to my best friend for the rest of eternity. "I do."
