"you know, i kind of blame you for this so you deserved that."
"WHAT?!" she scoffed. "you choking on dumplings after reading my reply to your comment was MY fault? how??"
"i wouldn't have choked in the first place if you didn't comment such a thing!!" kim dokja pointed his finger at the author accusingly.
"huh?! what part of the comment 'suck my balls' made you choke?" kim dokja couldn't help but choke on air upon hearing that. yes, that was exactly what he had read which caused him to choke to death.
"i'm rather surprised that you're not a thirteen year old kid actually." he scoffed.
the woman in front of him right now was in fact the one and only author of the novel that he hated the most. her name was han sooyoung aka HSY123 and can you believe that she was only two years younger than him?! kim dokja actually thought that HSY123 was a random teenage kid who was writing a web novel for fun.
"well, your comments were amusing to me actually." han sooyoung said, reaching out to take one of the lemon candy that was on the plate.
"huh?"
"i only wrote it as a social experiment to see how people reacted and somehow in a blink of an eye, i made tons of money from it."
"so, you're telling me that the readers weren't all bots?" kim dokja found this very hard to believe.
"bots?? why would i need to do that?" she said, sucking onto the lemon candy.
han sooyoung must've definitely brainwashed people then, kim dokja thought.
"so what character are you now currently?" kim dokja asked. he had no idea which character han sooyoung had possessed because he didn't know how the characters looked like after all.
"unfortunately, i'm just a side character who had barely any role in the original novel." she sighed. "if i knew this would happen then i would have given him more roles, but it's all good since i can still live a peaceful life here and writing books here also make me quite a lot of profit."
"him? but aren't you in a woman's body right now?"
"well, just like how your name didn't change here, mine also didn't along with my gender too which is disappointing honestly." she sighed.
"i hope you wouldn't become one of yoo joonghyuk's wives then." kim dokja joked which made the author shoot him a glare.
"i would rather slip on soap and slam my head onto the floor repeatedly." she grumbled. "but shouldn't you be worrying about yourself? wouldn't you have to suffer the most here? you're the scum villain after all."
"god. please don't remind me of that anymore." kim dokja feels chills running down his spines just thinking about it.
"well, what are you going to do about it then??"
kim dokja began to explain his plan to han sooyoung and they started exchanging ideas and information with one another. kim dokja actually found han sooyoung not that bad actually. he might've hated her and her novel with a burning passion but that was all in the past now. if they had met in another circumstance back in their old world then maybe they would've become good friends.
