his gruesome death would be avoided in the future if he treated everyone, especially the protagonist, nicely. yes, that would work. maybe his new life wouldn't be so bad after all. he has read novels with a similar genres before and even finished reading this damned novel so it wouldn't be too hard for him to be in character, right??
"junior apprentice brother, does your head hurt?" kim dokja stayed silent. he didn't feel like responding at all.
[warning. your behaviour is a violation, please do not attempt. otherwise, the system will automatically give punishment.]
'where was it a violation?'
[you are now at the beginning stage and the OOC function is frozen. you need to complete the beginning stage mission for it to be unfrozen. if you conduct any actions that violate the original character's settings before the function is unfrozen, a certain amount of B points will be deducted. ]
'... what happens if my points are less than zero?'
[you will automatically be transferred back to your old world.]
what?! but wasn't he basically a dead man now in his old world? does that mean that he dies permanently if he goes back??
not gonna lie though, kim dokja doesn't completely hate the idea really. but he thought why not try out this new world instead? it might be fun! that is... only IF he could somehow make the protagonist not murder him.
kim dokja looked around and wondered where the protagonist could be right now. has that bastard even showed up here yet? he wondered.
"where's yoo joonghyuk?" he asked.
"junior apprentice brother, i understand that you want him to be the best, but wasn't the punishment from earlier enough for him?"
punishment?! fuck. kim dokja has to fix this. there was no way that he was going to live this new life walking straight into his own death like this!!
he had never been able to understand this scum villain's character. just why did he make that yoo joonghyuk bastard into his disciple and continuously torture him?? he knows that he's a villain but was that really necessary?!
he needs to go find that bastard right now and fix this! kim dokja sat up and attempted to leave the room but a certain message stopped him.
[warning!! OOC warning!! this action does not match the character you're playing!]
fuck.
well, if that was the case then kim dokja will just make someone get yoo joonghyuk for him. he hurriedly called out for one of the characters who he remembered about. it was han myungoh, who was the top disciple in the original novel during this part of the story.
"this disciple is here. what is shifu's command?" han myungoh looked average overall. not very good looking, but not too ugly either. perfect as a throw away character like he had expected.
kim dokja couldn't help but stare at the boy with pitiful eyes. yep, this guy is definitely fucked in the future too. they both basically had the same fate except this scum villian whose body he was currently occupying will suffer the most.
"bring me yoo joonghyuk." immediately, han myungoh began to shout for the boy as kim dokja stood up from the bed and paced around the room. he was talking with the system in his head, coming up with a way of how he should act to not violate the rules, but also for his own sake if he didn't want to suffer the same fate as the scum villian.
scum reader's self saving system. (orv, joongdok)
