Chapter 6

Grace sighed as she uploaded a video to her channel. It's been a couple of days since she last spoke with Tom. To top it off, her mom had mentioned a photoshoot in a month with a professional model her age. As much as she didn't want to share a room with a rich model person, she wanted to have the chance to build her portfolio with pictures of a professional model.

But she figured she'd need to work up to that point. So, Grace decided to try advertising her services for anyone who needs assistance making ads for their brand. This included content creators who have merch they are selling.

In response to everything, the girl streams and invites Tom to join her. When he arrived at her house, she had the 'Starting Soon' screen on. Tom was surprised at her setup and then noticed a chat.

"You invited me to join your stream?" He asked. Grace nods as she unmutes her stream.

"Hey there, chat! How's everything going?" She greets. "Today's stream is an art stream rather than a chill one where you guys can watch me working on one of my portfolio projects. I have a guest who I will be trying to draw to the best of my ability and hopefully he likes it too."

Glancing towards Tom, she gestured to the chat. "Would you like to introduce yourself or do I have to?" Grace chuckled. Tom took no time to introduce himself as Tom. Using a quiet voice to avoid recognition from fans.

"H-hi Chat. I'm Tom, and I met Grace at the park one day. We became friends because I complimented her work." He states. His eyes flew over towards what chat was saying about him and only a few mention his online persona.

Grace seemed to have seen the few saying TommyInnit and she sighed.

"Chat, I keep getting tagged in things about this TommyInnit guy. I even found a post someone made that had a picture of Tom and I at the park. If TommyInnit was the one that had to deal with this, he'd agree that you all don't need to pry into our personal lives. I really hope I don't have to stop content creation just because people decided to dox me or my friends."

Tom nods as he decides to continue her thought, knowing that he should look for whatever post she was talking about later.

"She's right, y'know. Being a content creator was a choice to bring entertainment to all of you. I might try to find that post myself and give them a few choice words for prying into someone else's life. True fans of Grace or TommyInnit would keep to themselves and not share private moments with the Internet. It sickens me to know that people feel the need to bully a nice person or to invade her space. I- No, I am not a simp chat." Tom exclaims.

Grace tilted her head in confusion. She never heard of the word simp until Tom said it.

"Uh, what does simp mean? And why is Chat spamming it?" She asked. Tom gave a soft chuckle as he shook his head. "It's just normal fan behavior. Same with other words Chat may say. My favorite is Pogchamp."

"Pogchamp?" Grace hesitantly stated. Tom bursts into laughter and Grace was confused. "That sounded so wrong coming from you. You have to say it with confidence. Can we get a Pog in the chat boys?"

Grace watched as her chat flew by with Pog as well as TommyInnit again. This time, there were equal amounts of each until a donation came in.
