"I do."
"And, if you want we can start dating." He adds the statement, his facade finally cracking as he avoids looking at you out of shyness
"I-are you sure?" You ask him once more as he nods, looking back at you even though his face was probably red
"I would like that." A smile finally breaks on your face
And just like that, the two of you started going out

"This is really not working," You sigh, it was your third date with Kataoka and it seemed like your relationship wasn't progressing! You want to hold his hand, hug him, or maybe even kiss him. But he was just too...shy for that
Although, it leaves you frustrated. This side of Kataoka also leaves you amused. It was so contrasting with his tough guy persona. He always looks like he was picking a fight with someone but he can't even ask you out on a date directly
"I have to be the one to initiate this." You say to your reflection in the mirror, "This relationship will work, we will move forward." You announce with determination before returning to Kataoka
"Were there many people in the restroom?" He asks, was it normal to take almost 20 minutes in the bathroom...did the food do something to your stomach?
"Huh? Oh yeah, sorry did I take long?" You laugh, sitting back down as he shakes his head almost immediately
"No, I was just wondering." He answers as silence fills you two once more
You glance at his hand on the table before clearing your throat and leaning forward the table, "So," You start as one of your hands moves to grab his hand that was just resting there
"So?" Kataoka asks back, jumping back when he feels something on top of his hand
"Did you like the food?" You try to act normal but Kataoka was still looking at your hand
"Tesshin?" You ask him
"Huh?" His attention returns back to you as you hold back a smile at his flustered expression, really, anybody who hardly knows him would probably think he can never get bashful as he currently was
"I asked if you liked the food." You repeat the question
"Yeah, I did. You?" He asks you back as you hum
"It was great, I'm glad we actually followed the coach's suggestion." That was another fun story, Kataoka's expression when the coach found out about his relationship could be framed
"Well, should we go?" You ask after a few more minutes of talking with Kataoka. Although the date was fun, you hoped that he would make a move to hold your hand instead of letting it just rest on top of his
"Yeah, let's go." He says as you look at him curiously, what about the bill?
"I paid for it." He answers your question as you gape at him, the only reason you even agreed to go to this kind of restaurant was when you two agreed to split the bill in half
"I'll pay you back-"
"No, it's on me." He says, surprisingly firm
"Fine...it must have been expensive though," You mutter
"I was ready with the money," Kataoka reassures you, of course, he was. He wouldn't ask you to go to a fancy restaurant if he didn't have the money for it
"Well, thanks then." You smile as you both walk in the direction of your house. Just as you were about to turn on your street, Kataoka stops you by grabbing your hand
