Dustin and I were getting books on are lockers and we Max pass by us.

We both looked at her, and see her opening her locker.

Dustin: We're gonna do this?

Lucas: Not right now, we look like morons.

We then see Ro walk up to Max. They both said hi to each other and started talking.

Dustin: Maybe she likes ghostbusters.

Lucas: Of course she likes ghostbusters, but that's not the point. The point is we're dressed up and she isn't.

Dustin: Well I didn't bring extra clothes, did you?

Lucas: No.

Dustin: Then we have no choice. We gotta do this. It's now or never.

Lucas: Right.

Dustin: Let's engage.

But before we could go, we see her walking away with Ro.

Dustin:...We could ask her after class.

Lucas: Yup.

Why does Ro make it look so easy?

Nobody's POV.

Max was putting some books away in her locker when all of a sudden, Dustin and Lucas came up to her.

Dustin: Hi, Max. I'm Dustin, and this is-

Lucas: Lucas.

Max: Yeah, I know. The stalkers, Ro told me about you two.

Lucas: Oh Uh no actually, we weren't stalking you.

Dustin: Right, we were just concerned because...you know, you're new and all.

Lucas: Yeah, for your safety.

Dustin: Right, there are a lot of bullies here.

Lucas: So many bullies, it's crazy.

Max: Is that why you're wearing proton packs?

Dustin: Well these don't function, but I do have this little trap here.

Dustin says as he grabs it.

Dustin: And look, it even opens and close.

Dustin says, then he opens the trap.

Dustin: Cool right?

Max looked unimpressed.

Dustin: No? Okay. But um we were talking last night, and you're new here, so you're probably don't have any friends to take you trick or treating, and you're scared of bullies. So we were thinking, that it would be okay if you come with us.

Max: "It'd be okay"?

Dustin: Yeah. Our party's a democracy, and the majority voted you can come.

Max: Was Ro, on this vote too?

Dustin: Yeah...wait did she?

Lucas: I...I don't think so, didn't you ask her?

Dustin: No I didn't- never mind, I don't think we did, but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't mind since you two talk and stuff.

Max: I didn't realize it was such an honor to go trick or treating with you.

Dustin: We know where to get the full sized candy bars. We'd figured you'd want in.
