When I got the call, I had no idea what the future would hold.
Sitting here, in a position I thought I would never find myself, driving back home to Mystic Falls.
I take a deep breath as I meet the town sign, that once signified the feeling of being trapped. Now it has the bittersweet feeling of comfort.
I swore I would never come back here
The town doesn't seem to have changed, not alot atleast. I do however see the clouds covering the sky refusing to let any light in, almost as is if they know something we don't.
Darkness, that's all I see when I think of this town. A place I hoped would stay in my past, but I love my cousins too much to let them suffer alone.
Elena and Jeremy Gilbert are my cousins but they feel more like siblings. I stayed at their house for a lot of reasons.
One of them being that my dad is obsessed with hunting monsters. Another being that he unknowingly adopted one, the rarest one in fact.
Being the Tribrid has its perks, no need to drink blood, no turning on the full moon, and all the sweet witchy powers.
I think my only problem is that once my dad found out, he was determined to find a way to kill me.
The grip on the steering wheel tightens at the thought, my knuckles whiten.
To escape him I stayed at my Aunt and Uncle's house, and my dad didn't object as it was one less responsibility. I even have a room at their house, which will be of great use as I now need a place to stay.
