In the morning, I found out that the memorial for Todd was at Chili's. His sister, Ashley, posted on Facebook that they planted flowers. I was sad that I wasn't able to go, even though I wanted to.
Again, the day was sad. Going through all of my classes was a little stressful because I couldn't focus for longer than 15-30 minutes. My language class was okay, because my friend, Louis, was trying to make me smile. Once he did that, he wanted to make me laugh. He did that for most of 7th and 8th period. Finally, he made me laugh after the bell ring for school to get out.

On Facebook, I found out the funeral was Saturday for Todd. I planned on going, but my mom said to wait until she knows her schedule.
I TOTALLY forgot about Valentine's Day. It was tomorrow. So, I scrambled to find something for my 2 best friends. Since I am a Girl Scout, I bought a box of their favorite cookies and a little stuffed animal that I wasn't using. (I know. I know. It's wrong, but I wasn't using them. So, why let them just sit on my bedroom floor?)
My mom finally told me her schdule around 8:30. She said she could take me there, but I would have to get a ride back home. I told her I would get a ride either at the school or at the funeral.

Thursday, February 14th, 2013 (VALENTINE'S DAY)
I woke up this morning, got dressed, and went downstairs. The doorbell rang as I was walking away from the door. So, I turned around towards the door and open it. It was my neighbor. He handed me a green frog holding a balloon and said, "Teddy bears and dogs are so overrated. Happy Valentine's Day." I said thank you and he walked back to his house. I was so happy, but confused at the same time. Did he like me? I couldn't tell, but... What would a sophomore and a senior do? The senior would be going off to college and I would be stuff in high school for another 2 years. So, I didn't think about it that much. I got breakfast and got my school stuff together and went to school.
The entire band hall was filled with giant, and I mean GIANT, stuffed animals. And balloons. I quickly walked through the room, trying not to step on the chocolates, bear, dogs, and backpacks. I walk to my 5th period class and was given a lolipop. We didn't do anything special for the rest of the class.
In my band class, one of my best friends gave me 2 FunDips. I mean, who doesn't like FunDip? (Except for the people that have no clue what I'm talking about.) She also gave me a small poodle (stuffed animal). I gave her the stuffed animal and a box of Peanut Butter Patties. She practically screamed! She hugged me and said she loved me. we hung out in the band hall, while giving each other ideas for stories. (I'm trying to get her to join wattpad.)
A couple classes later, I give my other best friend her box of cookies and I think she went to heaven and came back. She screamed, too. She also hugged me. The day was overall the happiest this week. I don't know if Valentine's Day played into it, but no said a word about Todd. Other than that, the rest of the day went well.

I got to school early to talk to a teacher that had Todd in one of her classes. Since she was my mom's friend, and my friend as well, I visited her but we didn't talk much. Like Thursday, no one said anything about Todd that day, except for the time and place of Todd's funeral. It was 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church he went to. Later that night, I took a shower and picked out what I was going to where. Ashley said that her family is not getting "that" dresseed, that they are just wearing jeans. So I chose a pair of long dark jeans, a black and red nice shirt, and a black shawl, all with black wedges.
