Chapter 1

Well, my life is fucked up. Let's get you caught up. Here is the story: once upon a time, there were two beautiful baby girls born at the same time down to the second. You might be thinking how sweet but after an hour of life they both died. They died at the same time down to the second. Their souls merged and became one. So Lily and James Potter had a baby girl but the other family was left with another loss in their life. And that's how I was born. Now let's start back to when everything first started getting really fuck up. Let's revisit the fifth year me.

"Check in when you are in position."

"Spartan in position."

"Speedy in position."

"Over watch is still in front of my computer."

"Artemis? Artemis, are you in position?"

"Yeah about that. I'm a little busy right now." I continue to fight the ghosts that are there but after I knock out one they get back up. No killing, no killing I repeat to myself. Ugh! "Fucking ghosts." "Artemis I'm on my way." "I'm fine." "YOU JUST GOT SHOT. I'm on my way. I looked up to see him on the roof shooting the ghosts which in turn made the rest retreat. "I thought we wouldn't kill." He picked me up and started to carry me away. "Those were tranq arrows."

"You were supposed to go to the east side of the building." "I was on my way but got caught up." I winced in pain as my mom was trying to get the bullet out of my leg. "Dad, I didn't hear the gun go off." He stood there awkwardly looking nervous. "Dad?" My mom looked at him and gestured for him to leave. "We embedded your comm with a system I created that will silence certain noises. The first time we were attacked after we got you they had guns and you froze and started shaking. We thought you were right behind us and you were severely injured. You didn't remember that so we decided that for your safety we would do that." "Oh..." "It's OK he will let you back out in the field." "He better, I've been training for months." I said hopping off the table. I left the Bunker and got in my car to head to my apartment.

"What the hell?" I said as I walked into my apartment. There was an owl outside of my balcony continuously trying to fly through the window. I opened the door and the bird came flying in and landed on the coffee table. There was a letter addressed to me but it had a note attached with instructions to be given to my dad. As I was debating whether to open it my Aunt walked in. "Hey sweetie! What's that?" "I don't know." "Well who is it addressed to?" She has to know what it is. She is testing me right? Why would she walk in at this exact moment? "Umm it's addressed to dad." I said, putting the envelope down. "Did you get it today?" "Yeah...why?" "That's just weird because it's Sunday." She said walking into the kitchen. "I'm making dinner tonight by the way. Oh and remember to wear something nice because your father is having some important people that will help with his next mayoral campaign." "Yeah alright. I have homework I'm going to do."

After my father's campaign dinner, he and my mom were sitting on the balcony so I decided to give him the letter and ask about it. "Hey mom, dad." "Hey honey how are you feeling?" "Better." "You did a good job covering that scar." He said, running his finger over the scar on my face. "Umm yeah well there was a letter delivered today." My dad looked at my mom with all seriousness and concern. "You know something about this don't you?"

Present Day

"Alright one last check my other parents are magic, I have a magic brother, and I'm magic too?" "Yes" both my parents said with all annoyance. I have asked this question almost every day. My parents dropped me off at the station because they had to catch a flight back to Star city. "Remember if we call you on this phone you use this to open a breach to whatever location we give you. "Yes dad I know." "And when we call you, do not call us by our names. Don't even call us mom or dad." "Dad, you have told me this, I know." Then we went our separate ways.
