Giyuu had been sent on a mission with Uzui, The sound hashira and it was only supposed to be a low level demon but they were poorly misinformed. (Pretend that none of the hashira are dead and Uzui has not retired) It was Akaza and Douma but they came from behind and captured both of the hashira and held them in the demon mansion thing for months and held in different rooms. One day Uzui was able to break free and rescued Giyuu at night while he was passed out. When the got to the butterfly mansion it was found that he was a demon and a meeting was called where giyuu was presented in front of them confused.
