Marlene McKinnon and Athena McKinnon would die for each over at the end of the day. Athena was a close friend of the noble black family. The last they saw her she was Marlene's little baby sister but now she's all grown up
Athena finally spoke "listen we'll nurse her and she'll get better" she insisted "she will" nana grabbed her hand.
Before bed Athena sat on the side of Beth's bed putting a wet towel to her forehead. Beth was breathing weakly
"You will get better, father will get better." Athena insisted again "and we'll all be together soon just in time for Christmas alright ?"
"We can't stop gods Will" Beth mumbled
"Well god hasn't met my will yet." She dabbed the towel on her forehead again "what Athena wills shall be done." She sat up and glared at her sister.
In the morning everyone made sure to check on Beth, she wasn't getting any better "what do we do ?" James asked Nana
Nana looked up at him and sighed "we should send for the girls mother".
After a couple hours Mother finally came home "Marmee" Meg jumped into her arms
"Marmee she's worse" Athena stood up "I didn't know what else to do" she hugged her mother tightly
Regulus walked in "how is she ?" Mother walked over to Beth.
Regulus put his arm around Jo pulling her in tightly while she looked at her sister. She went to go and get some ice with the boys.
Athena watched over Beth almost every night. It came to Christmas Eve and she woke up in the chair next to Beth's bed. She looked to see Beth was gone, her heart was skipping beats as she ran down the stairs "Mother" she cried
She walked down the stairs as mother turned to here. Athena had tears in her eyes "Marmee"
Marmee revealed Beth sitting next to her looking 10 times better, she was sitting with James and Sirius playing a board game
Athena exhaled in relief walking over to Beth, she hugged her tightly kissing the top of her head "merry Christmas" Beth laughed.

Everyone came over for Christmas, they all decorated the house beautifully, Marlene and Athena were arguing if we're to put the tinsel
Regulus walked in "here's another Christmas gift for the McKinnon family" he said as Jack McKinnon walked in his arm over Mr Brooke's and surprisingly Professor keys
Athena spilled her popcorn everywhere "FATHER" she ran and jumped into his arms. All of his daughters hugged him at the same time
"My little women" he looked at all of his daughters "look at you" he smiled at Athena "oh Beth" he touched her arm "merry Christmas my dear. Merry Christmas to all of you"
Athena hugged Beth as Marmee hugged father tightly. She looked back at Regulus and smiled. They had to pull out a couple extra chairs for this Christmas dinner, everyone had stories to tell and weird traditions. Meg was talking a lot to Mr Brooke while Jo seemed rather interested in what Professor Keys had to say.
