⇾ Chapter Two: I'm calling the cops

Start from the beginning

"You alright?" He says, this time only talking to Lucas,

"Yeah," the Freshman said, other things on his mind. He wasn't sure if the basketball players that let him in with open arms knew that he was friends with Eddie Munson, the one who lived in that trailer. "I'm good," he said

"And you were here all night?" Chief Powell said to Jason, inside of the building

Jason was starting to get annoyed, "What the hell is this interrogating about?" he thought to himself before he answered, "Yes. Ask anyone,"

"Oh, we will, but thank you for the suggestion," Officer Callahan said.

"I see a whole lot of beer around. You have fun last night?" Powell says as Callahan takes out a notepad.

"What, you gonna arrest me for drinking?" Jason replies, looking stern.

"It is against the law, so we could." Powell replies, "Should we?" He says as he looks up at Officer Callahan.

"I'd vote for trespassing, myself," Officer Callahan says. "I don't think Benny's family would be too thrilled to see what you've done to his place,"

Jason was getting annoyed. Like, really annoyed. "Yo, people been using this shithole for years, man. Act like you guys didn't know," Jason says, rolling his eyes,

"What about your girlfriend? She party here last night?" Powell asks

That question piques Jason's interest in this conversation. He hadn't seen Chrissy since last night at the game, and there was a small thought at the back of his head that she could be the murdered student.

"Chrissy? No," he says, concerned

"That's odd, what with her being your girlfriend and all," Callahan says

"Why're you asking about Chris?" Jason says, sitting up

"When's the last time you talked to her?" Powell asks, staying calm

"After the game," he says, now confused. Why're they asking about Chrissy? "Look, this...this doesn't have to do with that dead student, does it?" Jason says as he leans over the table.

"What did Chrissy say, when you talked to her?" Powell asks, avoiding the question

"Well, sh-she...I mean, said she was gonna go home, get changed, something like that," Jason says, trying to remember her words

"Did she mention anything about buying drugs for the party?" Callahan asks, writing down on his pad.

"Drugs? No. No way. Chrissy-Chrissy doesn't mess with that crap," Jason replies

"Maybe someone talked her into it," Powell suggests

"No! She's straight as an arrow," Jason yells

"What about Eddie Munson?" Powell asks, staying calm. "Ever seen her talking to him?"

"That freak? No. No way," Jason says, clearly aggravated.

Powell and Callahan share a look before Jason says, "Wait, what...what does Eddie have to do with all this? Did that freak hurt her?"

Powell just gives him a blank stare, not knowing what to say.

"He hurt Chrissy?" Jason looks up at Callahan, annoyed that both officers are now unresponsive. "Did he hurt Chrissy!?" Jason yells

Jason runs out of Benny's, ignoring the calls from his teammates. He runs into the woods, in disbelief and blinded by rage. He gets down on his knees and sobs. "That freak is gonna pay for what he did to Chrissy." He thinks, before he screams at the top of his lungs.
