I wake up groggily, still in my uniform from last night. I don't have a hangover since I made sure I didn't drink that much

I seem to be one of the first to wake up, since only Patrick, Andy, and Ryan are around the TV.

"What's this? I thought we were watching Thunder Cats?" Jason says, his mouth full of Lucky Charms.

"Hawkins student got murdered," Patrick says nonchalantly. At that, I'm awake.

"What?" I say, walking over

"Yeah, it's on every channel," Andy says, looking up at me

"As you can see behind me, Chief Powell and the Hawkins Police Department are actively investigating the scene." The woman on the TV says.

"She's at the trailer park," I say, accidentally out loud,

"Yeah, some junkie probably got loose," Ryan jokes,

"Trailer park. Eddie Munson. Chrissy." It all comes back to me, and I feel myself get lightheaded. "Chrissy went to Eddie's trailer last night. The reporter is in front of Eddie's trailer. Chrissy's dead."

I run to my car and start it, tears forming in my eyes. As I speed away, I see a police car pulling into Benny's burgers.

"I need to find Eddie. He's gonna pay." I say to myself as I drive to the trailer park.

I get there in just under ten minutes, but there's officers everywhere. I try to act casual, as I drive in, but I'm stopped.

"Sorry, only residents," He says

I'm not in the mood to make something up so I just leave. Eddie wouldn't stay at the site, knowing him, he probably ran away.

"I know his only relative in Hawkins is his uncle, so he can't be staying at a grandma's house or anything like that. What if he's with a friend? Wait, Eddie's in a band, right? What if I go to where they usually practice? I'm sure he shares everything with his band mates, so why not start there?" I think to myself, feeling pretty smart

At Benny's Burgers, things were a mess. Jason was currently being interrogated by the police, and Ryan's girlfriend stormed off for no reason.

"I'm telling you, this isn't like her man. You know Phoebe, she wouldn't run away like that," He says, pacing "Plus, with all this murdered student bullshit she really shouldn't be alone,"

"Ryan. We have other things to worry about, like the fact that the police are interrogating Jason in there," Andy says

"I'm sure it's nothing alright?" Patrick says, talking to Ryan and the freshman, Lucas Sinclair. "Probably the neighbours complained about the noise or some shit."
