One Moment (Taylor Swift Fanfiction)

Blair held their daughter Dakota's hand as they both exited the preschool. "What did you do today, princess?" the parent asked the four-year-old.

"We painted pictures in arts and crafts today Nini!" the girl told her parent proudly.

"Wow that's amazing baby girl, what did you draw?" what the toddler said next was not what Blair expected to hear.

"You, me, and Daddy." Dakota replied. The child knows her parents are not together, but she was never told why. Whenever she asks, both adults avoid the question. She wishes they were together again.

"I'm sure he will love to see it when you go to his house." Blair says as the pair walk home. Not watching where they are going, Blair accidentally bumped into a woman, making her drop her sunglasses. Dakota kindly picked up the sunglasses and handed them to the stranger.

"Thank you very much," the tall woman smiled at the child before looking at her parent. "I'm so sorry for not paying attention, I was...." Blair looked into the woman's eyes after realizing who she was; it was Taylor Swift! They bumped into THE Taylor Alison Swift! After looking at each other for what could be considered too long, both blushed until the parent spoke up.

"No, I'm sorry, I wasn't looking while I was talking to my daughter and um.... have a nice day!" Blair quickly walked away with their daughter, still embarrassed from meeting their favorite artist in that kind of situation.

"Nini, why did you and that lady look at each other for long time?" Dakota asked her parent as soon as they arrived home.

"I don't know, honey." Blaire replied. They honestly did not know why they stared into Taylor's eyes that way. They swore they might have saw Taylor blushed as well. The parent ignored their thoughts before continuing to chat with their daughter. "So, what should we have for dinner tonight?" the parent asked.

"Mac and Cheese!" the child replied, making Blair roll their eyes and chuckle.

"Why did I even bother to ask?"
