Taehyung met Seokjin in the most unexpected place and the most unexpected time.

***

Seokjin hit the send button and slammed his back against the swivel chair. He glanced on the wall clock and it’s already 9 pm. He stretched his arms and finally he is shutting down his computer.

He had been working nonstop for the past month. He had conceptualized this story a year ago, written the manuscript for months, and now he had finished the epilogue. He had sent the manuscript to Park Jimin, the editor-in-chief of the Min Publishing House, and his very own best friend.

Seokjin works at Min Publishing House for 6 years now. The company is owned by Mr. Min Yoongi, 30 year old, the famous writer under the pseudonym Agust D. Fresh from graduation, he applied as a writer in the Publishing House. Seokjin had a degree in Psychology, but being a writer is his dream so he goes for it. Thankfully, his parents had always been supportive to his endeavors.

Ever since a student, he loves writing novels and he sent his works to Yoongi, together with his CV. Yoongi seems impressed with his writing skills so he hired him. While Yoongi specializes in Thriller-Detective story type of books, Seokjin loves to write anything regarding human interactions.

At age 27, he is already a best-selling writer in Korea. He is also now famous in Europe and U.S. and his books are always sold out in Amazon. His first best-selling book, Awake, entails the life of a student. The struggles during studying, peer pressure and fulfilling your dreams. His second best seller, Epiphany, is about a successful CEO, despite having issues with his sexuality, achieved his dreams and reached the top. This book became controversial but many people loved the genuineness of the story. In fact, the book was nominated in some writers’ guild awards in France.

But now Seokjin became interested in shifting to writing Webtoons. Being a Manhwa lover, Seokjin diverts his passion into writing his very own webtoon.

The story that he had been writing for months, entitled Moon, is about a famous idol who have everything; good looks, good personality, successful career, wealth and happy family. But in spite of all these things, he always felt that there is something missing. So he travels the world for soul searching but he finally meets his soul mate.

Seokjin couldn’t believe at first that he was inclined to do a romance themed webtoon, but he enjoyed the story. He thinks that the epilogue seems to be the most realistic ending for it and he had no regrets.

He closed his computer and turned the lights off from his office. He sent a text to Jimin that he had sent the manuscript in his email. Hopefully in two days, Jimin had already read it and ready for final editing. His book has not yet published but he is already thinking of a new book to write. And this time, it is a suspense-thriller story. Seokjin is excited for the new book and he couldn’t wait to share it with Jimin soon.

“Hyung, you are already drunk. Let’s go home.” Jungkook stood up and pulled his arm. He is annoyed but at the same time, he is worried with his stepbrother, Taehyung.

“Just one more bottle and we will leave this place. Please?” Taehyung pleaded to Jungkook but he is determined to take him home.

“No, let’s go home, hyung. One more bottle and your next destination is either a hospital or heaven, you choose.” Jungkook raised his voice to Taehyung and finally, Taehyung agreed.

“Okay, but promise me, we will come back here tomorrow okay?”

Jungkook didn’t answer him. He paid their bills and helped Taehyung walk towards his car. Jungkook drove the car but he didn’t take Taehyung to his apartment. He took Taehyung to his own apartment because he is worried that Taehyung can’t take care of himself. Taehyung is quiet the whole travel and Jungkook is somewhat relieved.
