Simple Days

"Ayo G! Neffex released a new song!" a college student shouted to his mate. This gathered the attention of those who heard and immediately winced at the guy who said it.

"Send the link to the GC! Quick before the teacher comes in!" a girl replied as she stood from her seat.

The others murmured to themselves when they got excited, everyone except the guy at the back who was just slouched as he leaned his head to the table and covered his head with his arms. Soon students started to gather on the man as he was busy sending the link to the group chat.

"Hey hey what is it about this time?" a Vastayan lady asked as she peered at her friend.

"Something about mental fortitude I guess? It's usually his main topic nowadays. Oh is it about parties or girls?" the girl replied.

Just as someone was about to reply a teacher barged into the room surprising the students. The teacher was a male with purple skin and a black beard with a bald head. He had his glasses on and he fixed them as he observed the people.

"What with the ruckus?" the teacher asked as he walked to the table provided for them.

"Ah Professor Ryze, I-it's nothing, it's just that N-Neffex released a new song," a male replied as they all walked back to their own seats.

"Oh that's nice. Feel free to listen to it during your break but for now, now you guys write your name on a piece of paper. 1/4 lengthwise would be the best one," Professor Ryze replied as he pulled out a book from nowhere. This made the whole class confused.

" U-uhm Professor? Will we be having a quiz again?" a girl in the front row asked and this made all the students listen carefully. Ryze just chuckled when he noticed everyone getting antsy about it but he shook his head with a smile.

"Don't worry, there won't be any this time. Your names are going to be used as a raffle ticket. Since classroom 2-A and 2-B isn't here, your odds are quite high," Professor Ryze replied. This made some of the students sigh with relief but some were quite curious about it.

"What's it about?" the students whispered in the back of the class. Ryze observed this class full of 50 students all in all and noticed that one guy who had his head lowered to the table.

"Y/N Savage! Just because you're at the back doesn't mean I'm not that tall to see you sleeping!" Professor Ryze raised his voice causing the student to flinch at the sudden call. This earned a few giggles and chuckles but you knew they meant no hostility about it.

You just straightened your back and leaned it to the chair before looking at the professor with a small grin to lose some of that embarrassment. Professor Ryze just chuckled as he sat down and started to read.

"Now everyone, write down your names and pass them in front. Those uninterested can ignore it and continue to read where we left off in the book of Algebraic Expression," Ryze said without batting the students an eye.

Everyone immediately started to write and you who had no idea what happened several minutes ago did the same. You peeked at your neighboring seat and saw them ripping out the paper into a fourth of it so you copied and wrote your name on it.

"Hmm," Y/N let out when you saw how bland it was. You decided to...design it a bit so you did but you just drew some doodle to pass the time. I mean, you can read what Ryze talked about but you find doing that task a little boring.

You looked into your doodle and flinched when you unconsciously drew Neffex's logo. You chuckled to yourself and just added some details to ruin it. This caused a wolf? fox? facing you when you finished.

"Ey man you done?" the man in front of you asked as he turned to see you. You just nodded and passed it forward. He noticed your drawing and was a little impressed before he stacked his paper and passed it forward.
