' ' hey there ! ' '

chapter 1

     ' ' why - why me?! ' ' I muttered to the unknown person that was currently carrying me in a cage ; but the only thing they could only comprehend was only inaudible yips .

    ' ' hey . I'm kind- hearted ; so i will just let you go and tell them i couldn ' t find you , just - be grateful . ' ' they said . ' ' and here are your skates back . ' ' they muttered while unlocking the cage and silently putting my skates on the loud leaves .

      I made a silent yipp of happiness and grabbed the skates and rubbing off on the unknown person . they quickly gasped and softened their posture to pet me . ' ' okay , enough . now run . ' ' they said quietly once again .

    ' ' - look at me like that . i did what I had to do . ' ' someone said . I didn't exactly get to know what they looked like ; I was hiding incase someone found me . but after he left ; I peeked and he had hung up a poster . I snatched it with my teeth and ran back into the wilderness .

    Tuning into my more humane shaped form I scanned over the plastic - like paper . A sidekick ? sure , ill try .

   Walking over to the station where there was a line of people , I got in the back only to be crowded with looks and questions . I ignored the stares and answered most of the peoples questions .

    once I told them I was a little uncomfortable , they backed away and the line of people shortened as time grew on . then it got to me. ' ' you look so cool ! First off, what's your name ? ' ' the blue hedgehog asked me . ' ' y-y/n , ' ' i replied .

    ' ' last question , what would you do in a no - win situation ? ' ' he said . ' ' there is no suck thing as a no win situation when I'm with you , ' ' i replied . ' ' your really smart , y/n , you know that ? ' ' he stated while looking at one of  my blue tipped tails .  ' ' im flattered ; really . ' ' he said ,  now removing his eyes to look at my actual face .

    ' ' do you have any special abilities ? ' ' he asked . ' ' yeah ; but I'm not very good at describing it . here ; ill show you . ' ' I said nervously . I then relaxed and thought of my miniature self ; turning into a Kitsune shortly after .

   ' ' oh my mobian that was so cool ! ' ' sonic said yelling . I looked away from him and slowly lowered my ears . he understood . ' ' okay . you can stay here if you want ; to watch me interview the others ; which looks like there are only one left . . . you can still stay though . ' ' he exclaimed .

    ' ' now what would you do in a no- win situation ? ' ' sonic asked to the cloaked person . ' ' if I'm with you , there is no such thing as a  ' no - win situation ' , ' ' they said . ' ' you really get it new guy , ' ' sonic said . I backed up and turned back into the humane form .

   sitting down and bringing my knees to my chest and wrapping myself in my tails , i tune the others out and close my eyes . it wasn't long until something wrong happened . ' ' Doctor Eggman ! what are you doing here ?! ' ' sonic said yelling in his defence position while I lower my ears once again and getting up from my sitting position into attack position .
