It was 10:30 pm.
He walked out of his apartment. The weather was chilly but calming. He went to the ice cream stall.
"Long time no see taehyun"
The lady smiled at taehyun.
"y-yeah...one strawberry and one vanilla please"
"I know I know, you and Beomgyu always order that, just a minute"
The lady gave taehyun the ice creams.
"you're buying this time, where's beomgyu ?"
"h-he's not h-here.... I'm going to meet h-him"
"aah ok, enjoy your ice cream"
The lady smiled at taehyun.
Taehyun turned around and started walking.
He kept walking until he reached their usual spot.
The fountain.
He sat on the bench and took out the ice cream cups. He kept the vanilla one on the bench and started opening his strawberry ice cream.
Taehyun looked up at the moon.
"Are you doing alright hyung ? Look what i got you. Your favourite....."
Taehyun's breath hitched. He looked down, sobbing. He couldn't control his tears.
"your favourite ice cream"
"hyung...i never thought I'll be sitting here.... without you by my side...I really miss you hyung...a lot..."
Taehyun paused for a minute then looked down.
He started eating his ice cream, still sobbing trying to calm himself.
He finished his ice cream in just 2 minutes.
"hyung...this ice cream was too small...i wanted more....if you were here, you would've brought me another one"
Taehyun said smiling.
"But hyung..."
He looked up again with glossy eyes.
"Nothing lasts forever, time continues to flow in our lives."
"That's what you said...and I've accepted it"
Taehyun said, getting up from the bench and walking away.
