Early in the morning, the sun has risen. The house's eldest son, Vivek, is praying to Lord Krishna while the birds sing their morning anthems. But naughty Vinod is still dozing off quietly and daydreaming behind his covers. "Sapna my dear. Main tumse pyar karta hoon. Aapa Ki khushboo edam perfect hai, aapki kee keemat ek laakh sitaaron ke barabar hai. Tumhari muskan mera dil chura lete hai. Mere pyari kareeb aao.(Sapna my dear. I love you. Your fragrance is perfect, your eyes are worth a million stars. Your smile steals my heart. Come closer my darling.)" Just as she was about to speak her beautiful voice a voice came. "12...123....12...12345678....12...123....12...12345678!" Vinod woke up frightened by the annoying ringing of the alarm. He turned it off angrily. "Stupid alarm clock.Mera khoobsurat sapna barbaad ho gaya hai!(My beautiful dream is ruined)" Suddenly there came a strict and deep voice from downstairs. "Vinod! Jaldi aao.(Come quick)" Vinod shakes his head from his thoughts and runs down. He saw his elder brother praying and he approaches him. "Good morning bhai." Vivek holds his ear as he moans,"To chota shaitan uske sapnon se aaya.(So the little devil came from his dreams)" He laughs as he hugs him. "Mujhe pata hai ki aap apni pyaaree Sapna ke baare mein soch rahe the.(I know that you were thinking about your dear Sapna.)" Vinod blushes embarrassed. "Tumhe pata hai!(You know!)" Vivek smiles confidently. "Aapaka bada bhai aap ko kaise nahi jaan sakta. Main aapko kisi aur se jyada jaanta hoon!(How can your big brother not know you. I know you more than anyone else)" Vinod was about to answer but suddenly the door opens wide. "Sapna! Rukana!(Sapna! Wait!)" Preeti chases after Sapna as she laughs and runs. Vinod and Vivek's only sister, Sangeeta, enters and hugs her closest friends. Their parents appear all of a sudden. Preeti's parents, Ajay and Sita, arrive with her older daughter, Sadhana. The parents of Sangeeta and the three boys, Mahima and Rajwandran, enter the room. "Andar aa jaiye! Baithiye!(Come inside! Sit!)" Everyone sits as Sangeeta gives poornam to all the parents. "Prem aaj dopahar America se aane wala hai! Vah ek aadhikaarik roop se yogy doctor hai!(Prem is coming from America this afternoon! He is an officially qualified doctor!)" Everyone was surprised. "Are vaah! To hamare parivaar mein ek aur doctor hai! Hamari Preeti beti bhi hamare pyaari doctor hai!(Oh wow! So we have another doctor in the family! Our Preeti beti is also our darling doctor!)" Suddenly Raj spoke up. "Vaastav mein kuchh ladoo aur jalebi khaen kyon ki hamaare paas kuchh romaanchak khabaren hain. Hamare sabse pyaare Vivek beta ki shadi ho rahi hai!(Actually eat some ladoos and jalebis since we have some exciting news. Our dearest Vivek beta is getting married!)" Vivek looked shocked as soon as he heard the word. "Aur ladki sundar aur pyari hai. Bahut hi adbhut aur dayaalu ladki hai.(And the girl is beautiful and sweet. Very amazing and kind girl hai.)" Vivek and Vinod look at each wondering who could it be. "Hamaari pyaari Sadhana!Preeti ki badi bahan!(Our lovely Sadhana!Preeti's elder sister!)" Everyone looked joyful but the most happiest one was Preeti herself. "Kya! Hamare Sadhana didi ki shadi Vivek bhaiya se ho rahi hai! Kya shaandaar jodi hai!(What! Our Sadhana didi is getting married to Vivek bahia! What a wonderful jodi)" Sapna looked even more mesmerized. "Bilkul haan! Ve ek doosre ke liye bane hai! Sadhana ne Vivek se ki shadi! Mujhe ye pasand hai! Vivek bhaiya ke baare mein kya?(Obviously yes! They are made for each other! Sadhana weds Vivek! I love it! What about Vivek bhaiya?)" Vivek shyly looks away and nods. "Phir usaka Final! Ham chai ke mauke ko kal hi rakh sakate hain. Sagai ho sakti hai ek baar jab ve ek-doosre ko jaan lenge to yah 10 August ke aas paas hoga. Shadi 15 august ke aas paas ho sakti hai!(Then it's final! We can keep the tea occasion tomorrow itself. Engagement can be once they get to know each other so that will be around August 10. The wedding can be around August 15th)" The doorbell rang from the background and a knock came. Preeti, Sangeeta, and Sapna all ran to get to the door. They opened it quickly. "Prem! To aap ant mein aa gaye! Humne aapko yaad kiya!(Prem! So you finally came! We missed you!)" Sapna giggled. "Kitana romance! Aisa lagta hai ki hame kone mein do shadiyon ki jaroorat hai!(How romantic! Seems like we need two weddings in the corner)" Both of them blushed at the same time. "SAPNA! It's not like that! We are just friends!" Sapna and Sangeeta high-fived each other as the fathers came. "America kaisa tha? New York shahar avashy hee vyast raha hoga na(How was America? New York City must have been busy na)" He brought the gifts to everyone. There was food, clothing and so many things. Except for Preeti, he brought something special
