Interview

"Dummy! Tumulong nga ikaw there!" I said as I stood up to fix the error. 

It was 7:30 when we finished. I messaged Dad and my driver to fetch me. Ang traffic. Our 30 minutes travel time became 1 hour. 

The moment I stepped in our house I've heard the voice of the someone I'm avoiding.

"Where have you been! Anong oras na anak?!" She said. Dad was there together with my Kuya. Bumeso ako kay Daddy at kina Kuya without even glancing on her.

"Serenity naman eh. Ni paalam lang sana anak saakin oh. Nandito si Mommy anak oh, please don't ignore me naman." I ignored her still and looked at my Dad.

"Serenity, I told you to make paalam to your Mom diba?"

"I was running late Dad. Masyado madaming drama if mag pa paalam pa."

"B-baby." I heard her uttered. 

"Serenity." Dad said.

"I'm tired na Dad. Record yourself nalang po tapes iplay niyo bukas sa speaker. Maaga pa ako bukas. Good night." I said and went up.

Why does she care now? Kung kelan huli na. Kung kailan wala na akong tiwala. I just took a half bath and did my evening routine. I need to sleep early. I was about to lay down when my tummy growled. Shete! I need to eat pala. It's 9:30 palang naman. So I went down to get some yogurt and make a cheese sandwich. While I was waiting for my cheese sandwich I can hear my mother talking to someone.

"I miss her so much. I miss my daughter so much." I became curious that's why looked outside, she was talking to my father.

"Ang sakit sakit. Na parang anino lang ako. Na parang wala na ako sa buhay niya. I-I'm slowly losing my daughter." she said as she sipped some wine. She's drinking pala.

"You lost me already." I whispered as I went back to the kitchen. I was removing by bread in the toaster when I accidentally burnt my finger that made me yelp at the same time made a clank from the plate.

"Tanga." I said as I looked at my finger.

"What happened? Anak!' I heard her. Shit! So clumsy Cassandra. I did not answer her, instead I fixed the plate and yogurt I prepared. She gently grabbed my hand as she looked at my burn.

"Napaso ka? Anak dahan dahan ka please. Hon, pakuha nga yung burn ointment sa first aid dun sa right cabinet please." 

"Don't mind me." I said as I removed my hand. I carried my food and tumbler and went up. I locked the door. I peacefully ate and cleaned up. I just scrolled a little more and slept. 

I wish I never woke up.

Thirs Person's POV 

Serenity was very busy that she even forgot her breakfast.

"Hep hep hep!" Alfonso said as he carried his sister. 

"Kuya! Busy ako ano ka ba naman!"

"Kain ka muna. Mamaya ka pa naman aalis."

"Busy ako ano ka ba Kuya!"

"May pesto pasta. Inorder namin sa Wildflour."

"Ayaw ko. Let me go! Mabloated lang ako."

"Nope!"

"Daddy!"

"Wala si Daddy. Iba tawagin mo bilis!"

"Fernando ano ba!"

"Bleeeh! Tawagin mo si Mommy, ibababa kita."

"Alam mo? Sige buhatin mo lang ako. Pagka baba ko lagot ka saken."
