background (childhood) : her childhood was very similar to lukas'. she was on the ice early, and started to compete early. lea is much more outspoken than lukas is though. even when they were young, she was always going out of her way to talk to strangers and make new friends. in the third grade, she was at a table with a classmate, and during craft time, her classmate took a pair of scissors and stabbed her in the arm. she transferred schools shortly after that.
