when nancy left mike and shay at the bottom of the pathway to the school mike ran up to will, dustin and lucas who were all hugging and talking excitedly over their ghostbusters costumes

shay stayed behind, watching a blue corvette pull up and the beautiful red head clouding her thoughts got our of the passengers seat

shay watched them argue and the older boy drive off like when dustin explained to shay and mike what happened at the arcade ovet the walkie talkie on their drive to school

she slowly walked up to the boys who were to busy arguing about who was who to realize no one else was wearing a costume

"woah woah woah, why are you venkman" mike asked lucas

"because im venkman" lucas awnsered

"no IM venkman" mike shot back

"why cant there just be two venkmans' will tried to reason but mike and lucas wernt having any of it

"because theres only one venkman in real life, we planned this months ago. im venkman, dustins stanta, youre egon and lucas is winston" mike told the party

"i specificly didnt agree to winston" lucas shot back

"lucas never agreed to winston" shay added just to be nudged by dustin as a signal to shut up

"yes you did" mike lied

"i dont think he did" will agreed with shay

"no one wants to be winston man" lucas told him

"whats wrong with winston" mike asked lucas acting like there was nothing wrong with him

"whats wrong with winston? he joined the ream super late, hes not funny and hes not even a scientist" lucas explaimed making mike scoff

"yeah but hes still cool" mike lied again

"if hes so cool, why dont you be winston?" lucas suggested to mike

"i cant" mike defended

"why not?" lucas asked

"b- because.." mike stuttered

"b- b- because your not black" lucas mocked mike

"i didnt say that!" mike said

"you thought it" lucas shouted

"guys.. guys! guys! whys no one else wearing costumes?" dustin said finally reralizing

and with that the bell rung they all walked into the school, shay happy she forgot a cosume, and never even picked one out

"when do poeple make these decisions" dustin complained walking through the school

"everyone dressed up last year" will remeberd

"its a conspirisy im telling you" dustin said

"guys its fine, atleast you didnt come to school dressed up as somthing worse.. like the giant marshmellow man!" shay said trying to cheer the party up

"just be cool" mike told them before the party spilt up to go thir seperate ways

shay went to her locker that was resonably close to dustin and lucas's lockers aswell, as they were retriving their things they hearerd the sound of someone skateboarding down the hallway

the looked to their left to see madmax skating to her locker

"we gonna do this?" dustin asked the other two

"not right now, we look like morons" lucas reminded him

"maybe she likes ghostbusters?" shay questioned
