Phase Two of the Lovesick Monster Universe is finally here!
The President is dead, and the nation went into mourning. An emergency election was about to be held in 60 days, pitting Minister Kang Hyunjae against Lee Kangdae, the former Deputy Ministe...
The sunlight coming through the windows of my apartment's bedroom hit my eyes, effectively waking me up from my slumber, but my eyes were still closed. I wiggled a little under my blanket, my legs inadvertently rubbing against a pair of thin legs by my side.
I chuckled. I knew who the owner of those legs were, but I would address that person later. She was probably still sound asleep anyway. What time was it? I turned to my bedside table, opening my eyes to check on the digital clock that was placed on top of it, right next to my journal.

Minjeong laughed and snorted dorkily, before snuggling close to me, burying her head onto my chest. I chuckled and hugged her tightly, stroking her brushy short hair as I kissed her forehead.
"Morning, Minjeong... Ya... How long have you been staring at me like that?" I asked. I heard her giggling under the blanket. "Quite a while... Probably... Twenty minutes?" she pondered. I gasped. "Eeh? Why were you staring at me for twenty minutes?" I asked, bewildered.
I heard her laughing again, her face still buried under the blanket, her voice muffled a little.
"Tell me you haven't spent as much time staring at me before I wake up every single day!" Minjeong charged. "Y–Ya..." I uttered.
I felt my cheeks blushing. Shit. She knew? This had been my habit for the past three months, ever since we were reunited in front of that samgyeopsal place back in December.
