It took Chan a few weeks to adjust to Australia...mainly the time zone difference or maybe it was the fact that the only person he knew there was his father who was constantly on business trips. Regardless, he slept way more than a person normally does. It was especially weird for him considering the fact that he rarely slept a usual amount, much less than the recommended amount.

He had a couple more days until he had to start university since all of his paperwork was still getting switched over but he decided to go explore a bit so that he could get rid of his horrible sleep schedule before classes started.

"Felix, you've been working here for like a month now and you don't know how to make a singular drink," his friend sighed as she began making a large order of beverages that someone had just made.

"You take care of all the drinks and I make all the brownies and cookies and stuff," Felix replied with a pout. "Besides, we're both masters on our subjects which is why the cafe is so popular so- woah he's really pretty." He quickly got distracted as he looked up at a stranger with blonde hair that had just walked into the cafe.

"Then you should go take his order," Lily replied and gently shoved him closer to the order counter.

Felix believed in soulmates of course, in fact, he loved the idea of having one but he wasn't exactly obsessed with the idea.

He was fine with dating someone who wasn't his soulmate. He believed that as long as someone was nice to him and made him happy then he should give them a chance.

So flirting with customers who he found attractive wasn't a rare thing for him to do.

Though most of the guys he flirted with were either straight or already had a soulmate boyfriend.

Besides, waiting for your soulmate almost seemed pointless when there is always that chance that you will never meet them.

"No. He's too pretty. I can't do this. You do it."

"I already have to make 20 coffees by myself since you refuse to learn how to dummy. Go."

"Fine," Felix mumbled as he approached the counter and glanced up at the guy who was still looking over the menu.

He couldn't help but stare at him. Sure there were some really pretty people that came in and ordered but he had pretty much become used to seeing the same faces every so often.

However, this person was a whole new level of attractiveness. Felix nearly threw himself onto the ground when the boy finally looked down from the menu and made eye contact with him.

"Sorry it took me a while," He said as he walked up to the order counter with an awkward laugh.

"It's okay," Felix said back with a bright smile and he could already hear the teasing he was sure to receive from Lily once the pretty dude in front of him left the cafe. "What can I get for you?"

"I'll have a matcha latte please."

"Alright, and the name for your order?" Felix questioned, trying not to take the opportunity to simply stare at the stranger in front of him.

"Chan."

Now is when Felix had a quick mental battle; whether or not he should take a risk and converse with the stranger.

Let's just say his heart reacted faster than his mind.

"I'm Felix by the way. Are you on vacation here? Usually, we have regular customers, and you don't look familiar."

Luckily there was no one behind him in line so there was no rush. Besides, Chan hadn't exactly made any friends yet either so maybe this was the perfect opportunity.

"I used to live here when I was little but then I moved to Korea and now I'm back for a while."

"Ah, my parents are from Korea but I never got to visit," Felix said, feeling anxious as the conversation ended in silence. "Oh! my friend makes all the coffees here but i make the baked goods and stuff. I think they're pretty good. I'll give you one to try. On the house."

He was a rambling mess and Chan could catch on pretty quickly as to what was happening. He didn't like it. Even with Minho not being there anymore it felt wrong.

"No thanks, I'm okay I don't really umm...like sweets."

Felix pouted but held out the brownie on a napkin anyways.

"Maybe this will change your mind."

Chan couldn't handle the awkwardness any longer so he simply took the brownie and ran away to an empty table in the corner of the cafe.

"That didn't look like it went well," Lily whispered to Felix.

"It didn't," he responded, starting off at the stranger.
