Hi! This work was originally written in Spanish (by me) and then translated (by me). I'm fluent in both languages, but my english is a bit rusty, so if you find any mistakes it's probably a translation mistake i didn't catch or that I simply didn't know about. Please let me know if you find anything so I can correct it!. Thanks, more notes at the end.

The wind blows my curls as I push forward with all the effort I can put into the pedals of my bike. My ears still feel deaf, and even though I'm not wearing my Walkman anymore I can still feel the guitar riffs of Call of Ktulu filling in the gaps in my brain. Normally I don't mind the constant music playing in the background of my memory, but I guess today is not a normal day. I feel strangely sad and exhausted. It's already one of the last days of summer, but still, the sticky heat that pervades Hawkings during this season refuses to leave my body, making me sweat with every movement of my tired legs.
I should have gotten my driver's license a long time ago, but I've always been letting it go, and now that I'm almost 21 years old, I find it almost ridiculous. The sad truth was, that even if I wanted to, I couldn't afford to pay for the classes or the exam; Much less buy a car, not even a second or third hand one. Perhaps it was better this way; to continue attracting attention as I have done all my life: with this beat-up bike that almost surpasses me in age, pedaling through this monotonous, gray and empty town.
Why did I decide to take the bike? That mystery will remain unsolved. I just remember being in my room, as messy as it has always been, lying in bed, thinking about changing the sheets and then giving up, exhausted after a hard day at work. Then I closed my eyes and saw his face again. God knows how much I hated his perfect, angelic face; which made my heart burn for reasons beyond my understanding. My mind set a trap for me, making me remember those moments that escape the gaze of others, in which I stealthily manage to catch his lips for a few moments; while he smiles or while he squeezes them to give me a face. The strange desire that I find inside disturbs me, in a way that not even the bloodiest horror movies have managed; feeling perhaps similar to that treacherous dagger that sticks in the depths of my soul when I see happy people around me.
During the months that had passed since the strangest and most incomprehensible period of my life, I had begun to spend a lot of time with Robin and Steve; on rare occasions Nancy had been seen again, usually with Jonathan, but after the exams she seemed to disappear like a cloud of dust in the desert. Sometimes the children also let themselves be seen. I was especially looking forward to running into Dustin, and while I also had fond memories of Mike, I had a hard time striking up conversations with the boy, who seemed noticeably more reserved.
