Prologue

A/N: Hello! I've been wanting to get back into writing for a while and I think I've slipped back into another Bucky phase. So here you go. This is just the prologue, I'll post more if enough people like it so please let me know what you think! ENJOY

I waved to my boss, exiting the bookstore where I worked. Wrapping my coat tighter around me, I walked through the crowded streets of downtown D.C. Snowflakes fell, large and fluffy looking, covering the world in white. I made my way to my car and pulled out my keys. Just as I was about to unlock my car, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned to see a man smirking at me with his fancy looking suit and cold eyes.

"Pierce." I acknowledged him with a glare.

"Y/N, its good to see you." He said smiling.

"I told you, I'm done. I don't want back in your psycho plan to overthrow SHIELD. I don't want any part of this." I snapped.

"Y/N, we could really use you. You were one of our best. Plus the asset seemed to like you." He said, stuffing his hands into his pockets.

"I said no." I snarled.

He smirked again, narrowing his eyes.

"We'll see about that."

And with that, he left. Leaving me scared out of my mind in the snow.
