Elizabeth POV:

I was laying on the couch watching Netflix on my TV. I was obsessed with the TV show Bob's Burgers. I was on Season 2 Episode 4, Burgerboss. I was fascinated by the events in the show and what made it even better is having a huge glass of Raspberry Lemonade in one hand and a Chipotle burrito in the other. Being disabled made life easier in some ways. I haven't been to school for a few days and its Friday so now i have the weekend of doing absolutely nothing.

I felt a vibrate from the pocket of my sweatshirt. It was from an unknown number, but after I read it, I couldn't help but smile.

Unknown Number: Hey is this the beautiful girl they call Elizabeth? :)

me: I think you have the wrong number. This is just plain old ugly Elizabeth.

Unknown Number: Ohhh stop you are gorgeous! Never say that cause that hurts me more than it hurts you.

me: alright ill stop.

Unknown Number: Promise?

me: YES! This better be Matt :))

Unknown Number: Oh don't worry it is.

I go to my contacts and change his contact number and couldn't help but smile. It started to make my cheeks hurt.

me: So why did you text me?

Matt👼: I thought maybe we could hang out?

me: I mean we are two cripples that can't do anything sooo why not? 😂

Matt👼: Send me your address ☺️

me: How are you going to get here?

Matt👼: Don't worry about it. Just send me your address.

I sent him my address and hurried and wheeled to the stairs as far as I could go and crawled up the stairs. The struggles of being a cripple. I got to the top and got on my bed and grabbed my crutches. I made my way to my closet and grabbed my yoga pants, a tank top, and a light sweatshirt to go with it. Right next to me was unorganized make up bag. I grabbed it and put on some mascara and eyeliner. All this crawling around started to hurt my leg from moving so much but I had to at least try to look good. I sat there on the floor as the straightener burned my hair until it was completely straight. When I was done I made my way down the stairs and back into my wheelchair. It was much easier to get around that way. After around 10 minutes of sitting around waiting for Matt I finally heard the doorbell ring. I rolled over to the door and saw Matt there with the cutest smile on his face with boxes of candy in his hand.

I got him addicted to Bob's Burgers and we watched it for hours on end. Well we weren't exactly watching it the whole time to be honest. Most of the time we sat there and talk about anything and he would make me laugh till I cried. The way we laid on the couch was so comfortable. I laid on his chest and he had his arms around my waist the whole time and he stroked my back with his gentle touch. I could hear his heartbeat. For the first few minutes you could hear it pound loud and fast but as time went by it started to slow down. When I'm in his arms I feel so safe and being with him seemed so normal. It was a great feeling.
