Estábamos en nuestro nuevo estudio. Tocando una canción. Hacía frío fuera, así que decidimos grabar la canción dentro. Su nombre estremecía. Shiver. Shiver, una de nuestras primeras canciones (por no decir la primera, porque "Ode To Deodorant" nos daba una vergüenza...)

Chris se había quitado los brackets y a Will le había vuelto a crecer el pelo. Según Chris, Jon era un niño.

Volví a pensar en la primera entrevista, en aquel premio Grammy en aquella vacía estantería. Todo por Shiver. Nuestro éxito de Parachutes. La primera canción sin ser un EP.

La letra de la canción era extraña, pero decidimos fiarnos de Chris. La canción era de amor no correspondido.

Shiver hizo que Parachutes fuera mejor. Esa noche ocurrió algo que parecía muy extraño. La mente de Chris ya estaba componiendo otro éxito de la banda. Solo con mirar a las estrellas ya estaba completa, lo cual significa que a Chris no se le puede dejar solo con una guitarra y con un piano o si no sus ideas te atraparán. Y aquella canción se llamó conocidamente como Yellow.
