"perfect" i said and went into my room

"Hmmm, what should i wear" i said as i browsed through my closet to find a good enough dress for today, it was hard since i had alot of pretty ones

about after half an hour of trying on multiple dresses, i chose this one

(yes ok shut up u can pick anything else if u dont like it im literally the worst person when it comes to dresses.. and im lazy to look for better ones)

i picked a matching necklace and some heels with it, took some time to do my makeup and got out of there, mom was already gone by then.

yes, i was going to hyunjins birthday.

"oh it started already" i said as i stood infront of his house, so many other people were coming in. it seemed like there was a whole party going on, i mean of course-

should i possibly take some chocolate in with me? I feel so cheap going in empty handed. are there any stores nearby? ugh i didn't even bring money-

"excuse me, do you need any help miss?" one of the guards came up to me standing outside

"o-oh no its okay sorry" i said and quickly went in anyway, woah there are so many people here- i slowly walked inside, i knew a few people because mom had business connections with them, but i just knew them by face, not personally.

i then noticed hyunjin and sung hee standing together and laughing, i grabbed a drink from the waiter passing by and walked up to them

"happy birthdaayy" i told hyunjin then took a sip

"thanks" he replied, sung hee just greeted me as usual acting all nice and sweet, i ignored her.

"you look pretty!" she said smiling, i seriously cant with her.

"i know" i said, then i looked at her wearing that middleschool dress she showed me earlier

i scoffed sarcastically, "though, i wonder what you're going through to be wearing this"

she gave me a awkward smile, "a-ah.. about tha-" then she got a text notification in her phone, i sneaked into it when she took it out, the text said "are u there?", then she got a call from the same number the very next second

"just a minute" she told and hyunjin and walked out, is it what im thinking it is?

"im hungry" i said as i noticed her leave, then turned and walked away from hyunjin to follow her

while quietly trying to follow her, a boy sitting over the corner all alone caught my eye

"woah.." i slightly said out loud, but since there was alot of noise no one was able to hear it

i stood there looking at him wondering if i should go talk to him or continue following sung hee

"the food is on the other side" hyunjin suddenly showed up out of nowhere and said

"aish-" i slightly flinched, "you scared me.. also, who's that?" i asked hyunjin pointing at the boy

"who? oh him, his name is han jisung and he's a family friend i think" he answered

"ahh i see" i said without looking at hyunjin, while still staring at the boy

hyunjin stood there looking at me for a second, then said "dont bother him lets just go" and tried reaching out for my wrist to grab it

"tch" i moved my wrist before he would, "i never said i was going to" i told him and took a last glance at the boy, then walked the way sung hee went

I saw her standing on the door while talking on the phone, i walked a little closer to hear what she was saying

"okay got it bye" was all i could hear, i think I'm late ugh

she turned around, then noticed me standing and her face dropped again, i waved over to her with a innocent smile

she just rolled her eyes and walked to me, "can you not?" she said

"can i not what?"

"act smart when you're not"

"are you planning a terrorist attack here or something?" i crossed my arms and said jokingly

"whatever. also your dress is so plain, i expected better after what you said that day"

"did you think i would show up in a barbie dress or something? and its hot, you just lack taste"

she scoffed, she was about to say something but then some music started playing, and people started dancing in pairs one by one

"oh here you are" i heard hyunjin say that standing behind, did he say that to me or?-

then he started walking towards us, she quickly put on a smile again as she saw him

he walked past me and went to her, completely ignoring me. "let's dance" he told her and she nodded, then they both just left me there and went away. am i invisible to him?! aish this jerk. isn't he even embarrassed dancing with her after the crap she's wearing

well, since I'm here already, I'll have some fun aswell

i started walking to the jisung boy i saw earlier, thankfully he was still there and no one asked him to dance already

"hey" i said as i walked to him, he turned his head and looked at me confused

"wanna dance?" i stood infront of him and asked
