My story is about a teenage girl who suffered abuse at the hands of her stepfather for many years before he died in a car accident. It tells the story of Elizabeth's experiences in the foster system, her battle with PTSD and depression, and her path to recovery from the mental and physical trauma that the abuse left with her."
