The darken room filled with light as the unknown figure opened their phone the groan and squinting of the eyes echoed in the quiet room

"Fuck~" the groggy voice made its way from the left side of the bed "go back to sleep Ryan" the curly headed spoke
The digital clock on the bedroom stand said 5:32 am the insomniac sighed

This was every morning the two hour rest from 2 in the morning til 4 was daily routine chance should have been used to it by now but no it infuriated him but recently he couldn't gather the energy to care

The phone clenched in his hand flickered back on a notification popping up on his screen from TikTok 'my moms my sister?' The weird name made him frown and clear the notice with 2 hours left until he had to get up he flipped the covers over his head and closed his eyes praying for sleep

The creek of his bedroom door had him pursing his lips "Papacito, come and help your mami" calm smoothing voice called into the dark room lighting the dimly light hallway shine into the room "sí mami" the flip of the covers and Chance steps out of bed walking to his mother who carried an apron hands covered in flour

"My baby" the kissed placed on his cheek had him softly smiling as he glanced at the mess of dough and flour in the marble counter the tall cuban walked to the sink and washed his hands drying them preparing to kneed the dough

"How's school baby?" The same questioned asked everyday started the conversation "it's fine mami" "what about that girl you like mm?" Teasing question made him grip the flour tightly making a white cloud in the air "mami~" the whine as he covered his hands in flour the red ears and weight shifting from one foot to the other told Clara everything

"Have you spoken to her yet?" Watching closely Clara frowned at the rapid blinking and the scowl upon her sons face "n-no..." the deep sigh caught Chance attention "listen papacito, Tarda una hora en conocerte y solo un dia en enamorarme. "Sí mami" the heartfelt conversation touched Theo heart as he sighed his deep thoughts consumed him as he moved robotically around the kitchen

His mother never left room for silence and she was big on conversational time even tho she didn't talk much but listened to everything you had to say even if she didn't agree

In Theo defense he talked to her one time... but it was about his friend because Jax went missing and apparently Jaheim did to the three word conversation didn't last long and Theo was long gone to embarrassed and worried to stay

"Go get ready" looking up chance dad pated his shoulder as a greeting nodding Chance walked away before he could hear his mother and father's conversation heading to his room

"Hurry I gotta turn in last week work before Ms. Deep class start" Ryan spoke hurried tying his shoe lace the bed hair on top of his head made Chance chuckle "you look stupid" picking his clothes out Theo got ready for the day

"Calm yo ass down Ry" sitting in Jax car Ryan and I sit in the back as Jaheim and Jax who is driving took the front "you know she don't take late work so I don't want to miss the opportunity" the nod Jaheim turned around to the front "you right that bitch wouldn't even let me make up for my sick days when I caught the flu"

Casting out the small talk I look out the window my eyes closing for the thirty minute drive though it felt like a second as Jaheim tapped my thigh to wake me up "chancie you good?" Nodding I rub my eyes and thanks him "no problem and here's the keys if you want to sleep more during lunch I know how tired you be" "thank you" stepping out the car Jaheim walked away to Sanz car who was leaned against it waiting

"Good morning besties" hearing Finn squeals from the school doors I close my door and lean my head back my eyes stuck on the gorgeous woman as she tossed her hair behind her back her nails making her roots part into sections
