Valentines is a weird notion,
Why play with a singles emotion?
Couples go around hand in hand,
While all I'll have is a single ticket to the concert of a band.
Restaurants mock individuals,
As the Waiters ask table only for a single?
Red roses are the only kind florists display,
These love showcasing gifts have lead people astray!
The season of love is a nightmare for bachelor's,
Even social media apps ask- weren't you supposed to have a date planned for later?
Every store has a duo discount,
Doesn't money from a single person's wallet count?
More than liberating this time of the year seems suffocating.
Thus Valentines is indeed a weird notion,
Destiny likes to play with the individuals emotions!
