"Dori, stop running before you trip!" I called. She just kept running and eventually made it to the swing before some other kid could get on. The little boy walked away sulking while she laughed.

She's just like Bey. Oh my lord.

I shook my head at her and sat on a bench where I could keep an eye on her. She's growing up so fast.

I could feel my phone vibrate in my pocket so I took it out. I smiled seeing who was calling me and answered. "Hey baby!"

"Hey mama, where y'all at? I just got home." Beyoncé says. She smiled at me, maybe because I was staring. She looked damn good. Too fucking good. "I'm at the park with your mean ass daughter." I finally replied after a while.

She rolled her eyes and set up the phone. "All my child did was say you had a big butt. I don't see a problem." Shrugging, she started moving around in the camera. I immediately frowned.

"Why you wearing those sweatpants? Didn't I tell you-"

"Didn't I tell you not to wear that dress yesterday? Hmn?" I went silent and folded my lips. She right. "Oh, okay den. Talking about me. Where's my daughter?" I called Adore over, picking her up and putting her in my lap.

"Mama!" She screamed, snatching my phone and smiling. "Hi princess, I missed you."

I watched as they interacted. Beyoncé was setting up her game while conversing with Adore and showing her some love and attention. I wanted some. They both just here ignoring my ass. Damn. This must be how Lauren used to feel with Rih.

I muttered something under my breath and Dori put her hand over my mouth. "Mommy, no talking pwease." She said causing Bey to bust out laughing. She took her hand away and I pouted. "That hurt my feelings."

"Oh well." She shrugged before going back to chatting it up with Beyoncé. I scoffed. She needs to come get her child.

They said bye to each other and Dori ran off again. "She's just like you. Don't know why yo face lookin' like that." Beyoncé chuckled.

"She's not though. She completely dismissed my feelings. Thinking she grown or something. I'll pop her."

"I fight for mine. Don't think about it."

I pout again. "I missed you today." She's been taking longer shifts at her job and it's been hard to manage family life with us both being gone so often. Luckily our mothers moved closer so that they could take care of Adore while we're working or at school. Sometimes we don't get to see each other when we get home because we both just want to go to sleep or one of us is studying and not paying attention to the other.
